Thank you for these playthrus. I'm a huge fan of DVG games but I hate reading manuals. Just a couple inconsistencies I noticed from the manual. When rolling for enemy orders I noticed you subtracted supply points for the modifier on each roll. As per the manual it seems you only subtract the supply points once and then add the same modifier to each remaining roll. In my games this means the Enemy usually has points going into fog of war roll. The other thing is the Enemy Special Battle Plan counters. These do not count towards your enemy battle plans and your enemy AI gets to use this in addition to the designated number of plans. Thanks again I hope you agree.
6:52 You didn't roll fog of war. Even though you have more units strength, there is a fog of war roll where the enemy will spend resource points to add to that roll. That roll can add a garrison or a reinforcement to the battle, which would make you have to fight it. 10:35 it would be a +3 modifier for the entire army, as per the rules, all units move at the same time. 11:00 those units should have advanced into Turin. They always go for the lower army unit strength, I believe Turin is 30 and Nice is 38. So, they'd head to Turin.
First off on the most important matter, congrats to your wife and you! Now, on to less important matters....you have the victory conditions for the game a bit messed up....you were reading the "defeat" conditions where you automatically lose if you fail to hold two objectives, but, your victory conditions are that you must capture all of the objectives listed on the scenario chart. As it says on pg. 3 End of Campaign section....you win when the French forces hold all the objectives listed on the set up section....to verify this some more, look at how the enemy forces at Klagenfurt are activated. They do so when you get close to that territory, therefore as you can see, you need to go there...so you cannot adopt a turtle defense, as you will need to be on the offensive!
JPFalcononor How the hell did I miss that? I knew I had to be missing something otherwise it didn't make sense. Well this game just went from a easy win to a likely loss lol. Thanks for the heads up

Thanks for the gameplay! Question: Do you remove INSIGHT after you activate it and use it?
Congrats on the forthcoming potential gaming buddy.
Calvary is where Jesus was crucified. Cavalry are troops on horseback.

Is this a good beginner solo game?
Congratulations Gimpy and Mrs Gimpy!
sorry to see this so late but your first move didn' t envolved fog of war big mistake . you might not envelope the troops in turin
That's right. In the roll for fog war, the enemy gets one extra garrison. So, I can't pass the envelope check.
"eau" is pronounced as "o"
