When in inventory, right click on the gun to see the repair option. It will tell you which resources and how much of each you need and then click to repair if you have what you need.

You should make a fishing rod, and use the grubs to catch fish quicker

Next : cloth from Rabbits and bigger game from animals chicken have feathers to help you craft arrows
and so on
I have spend 846 Hrs Playing this Game and still like it.
You can repair your pistol by opening your inventory, and right click on the pistol. A pop up will come up and tell you what you need to repair it. If you have the material in your inventory you can click on repair and it will fix your pistol. Repairing other weapons works the same way. Unless it's changed you can't repair your tools. stop before they completely break and you can throw them in the recycler and use them for energy.
I'm a watcher not a player, I watch your videos because I enjoy your commentary and find you very entertaining. I will even watch your vid's even though I don't really like the game because you make it tolerable. Keep up the good work bro.

I got addicted to this game about a year back, basically binged all of bobs burgers while playing it and then realized that in 33 hours I had barely set up a workable base.
I like the idea of the game but the human ai and the lootbox scavenging mechanic really need some work for the game to shine. Apparently back when the game first came out the dev said the lootboxes were a temporary measure and were supposed to be replaced by better systems for finding specific loot but that was years ago with no changes to the mechanic. It is only made by one guy but as it stands it just takes up too much time for me to keep playing as is.
Im just playing an hour or so a day, sometimes not even that- cus any more than that and I start getting annoyed with how grindy it is.
I had no clue this game existed until I found your channel (earlier today that farming game lol) and I was looking thru your content and found this series. I've already binged the 1st 2 episodes and am here on the 3rd now lol
I'm not really a hardcore gamer (I play farming simulator and football manager a ton but nothing else) I always find these games so damn interesting to watch and also when I give in and try them I always suck at them lol
Side note this game and that Manor Lords game (I just found out about it yesterday lmao) look like 2 games I'd really like to try out. And yes I know Manor Lords isn't out yet. Just saying it looks cool too

I have played just over
3400 hours when the game first game out no auto wood pick up you had to manually pick up the logs no water /ponds we could find water bottles in crates
Wtf Floppy. You passed by a chest that you were able to see 1/17th of a chest that was clearly visible for 66 milliseconds.
I would drink my fresh coffee in the morning at home. Leave a half a mug out for when I get home.
To solve the problem with your door you can put a half ceiling between the stairs and your foundation with your door (like a balcony).
Basically, what I was going to say. You need a foundation/floor on both sides of the doorway

34:20 Guess the platform is a pixel higher than the top of the stairs or bottom of the door frame. Could be a stair glitch.
Also it is best to make the woodburner , generator and the workbench first.
Later you can think about the recycler for additional mass

Its 2024 subsistence is still a very good survival game.. starting out is brutal.. but gets easier when you start to establish your base.. games got are my updates with new furnitures to make.
I happened to notice from the corner of my eye, while I was whacking off in the corner, your door appears to be backwards...

despite the cons this game around x-mas sales can sell for less then 10$ its an interesting game. but the ai are hard core punishing but not has hard core as the mist game ai until the ai was revamped for the 5.3 unreal update. considering how hard the winter is in this game i don't like the loot boxes but their still many build off before their removed with proper progression. some critical crates crates spawn right by npc bases as one con. i would recommend it nun-the-less despite the few cons if you want play buy it...
also cotton and some items are not in box like proper harvest are in certain parts of the world look for cotton closer to the nest of the big bird nests so the parts of the map closer snow area an bare area. then you need an air tank for the perils in the deeper parts of the water btw.
Kodiak bears are more found in Alaska, not BC. We have more grizzlies and black bears.

About 2000 hours most of them on hardcore ;) Don't waste fiber for biofuel at the moment. You need it for rope! You can't craft nails :(
ohh and don't try to kill the chickens! They last for 20 RLT in your inventory before they rott. When you chop them they last another 20 mins. Cook them and they last another 20 mins. Fish last for about 15 mins. To survive your first days you have to chop the big trees twice every day to get those crabs (worms). Craft a fishing rod and start fishing at nights if you are low on meat. You need at least 5 chickens per day. To find them you have to go further from your base. Chickens will also provide you feathers for your arrows. Nails and rope are a pain in the a$$. The most valuable items for the first months. I'm glad that you enjoy the game!
you can craft nails- but I forget what the workbench is called that you do it on. I wasnt very impressed with how many you can make for the resources though (which is very typical of this game).
@@Heligany Not in this game. I'm pretty sure that you are confused with another game or perhaps you have in mind ammo crafting that's really expencive!

The thing about this game is you have to play for hours to get anywhere. At the rate your playing it will take you a year to get to the caves. I have been playing since it came out made it all the way to getting the bike. Then started over. When you made the first episode I got the bug and started playing again I am now at the caves but I play 8 to 10 hr a day.
