That bane played out of his mind. So many clutch sleeps on allies (and self), consistent grips, solid positioning, tons of setups... Great to see. Waga of course with the super consistent QoP gameplay. Early rotations were big this game.
Giving the role to the highest ranked player that marks it seems very exclusive to me. So you are supposed to play a rank you are not used to, rank up enough to be the highest, and then change to the position you originally wanted? I still think you should just roll for it. That way everyone has a chance to play the role they want, but I get that not everyone is mature enough to relinquish "Their role"
2:30 was the perfect time to be punished if marci was paying attention, if she jumped and tossed you you would have not had mana to blink for possibly long enough to die to tower and creep... even with wand. But hey, what do I know, I am a retired doto mans.
It does mean that if you assume that the shared goal for the whole team is to maximize the chance to win. It is ranked, it is a bit cutthroat. If you don't care about MMR you don't play ranked
That's the one bad opinion Waga can't seem to shake off. People do not open Dota to please you, they open it because they want to play the game however the hell they want to. You both did, so once the game start, you both have exaclty the same rights for any position, you want one? Talk it out or roll for it. Nobody owes you anything in this game. It's just so arrogant and entitled to feel that you get to choose how another person is going to play and how they are going to expend the next hour of THEIR lives because a game said you "play better". This is not the army my guy, you are not superior to anyone here, no matter your "game number".
By this logic some 4k immortal dude should take carry from yatoro if he wants because "no one is superior". (Yatoro is quite literally superior to basically every other player in pubs.) It's just illogical and frankly idiotic to be doing that in a ranked game at that level of play. It's funny you use the army comparison because like the army there are ranks to tell you who has more experience and skill. The people with higher ranks are not inherently more worthy as human beings, they are just considered to be better/more experienced in that field. Same goes with dota. If someone has a higher rank, they are probably better than you at dota, and you should respect that. To not do so would be arrogant. You're not "telling someone how to spend their time" by expecting this. Of course you have the right as a human being to spend time how you want. But do they not as well? So when you both want a role wouldn't it make sense for the better player to get it? Would it not be arrogant and entitled to expect someone who has won 2 TIs to give some random low MMR person their role? When you queue dota you might not get to play your preferred role. If you don't agree with that, don't queue. (Or just be low enough MMR to get ranked roles I guess.) In the context of real life, none of this matters. But if you don't care about taking the game seriously, don't queue for immortal ranked lol. You aren't going to implode just because you don't get to play your role. /m
@@WagaGaming You are making a lot of points that aren't valid. You are not getting that we play to enjoy ourselves, Your time and enjoyment of the game are NOT more important than mine because you have the luxury of spending all your time playing. The fact that you won a TI or not, does not make your time more valuable. Yes you might not play your role, and that applys to ALL PLAYERS, you don't get special treatment because you are "better". And again how arrogant and entitled are you to tell me not play the game because I dont believe your MMR makes you special, disgusting comment. So yeah, I don't believe Yatoro has power over anyone in the game, 4k or -100 MMR, they both have a say in how they play the game. I respect that you are probably better than me, but I respect my time more to spend it doing what I enjoy. "It's funny you use the army comparison because like the army there are ranks to tell you who has more experience and skill. @@red_freire your assumption makes sense in casual play, not high mmr ranked. The point of high mmr ranked isn't to spend time playing a super fun game that everyone enjoys, it's to win. People have fun winning. At Ancient and below the difference in skill isn't high enough to matter who plays what role, but at high rank it absolutely does. Stop applying your casual perspective on people who play the game at a professional level.

PSA: No, being higher MMR does not automatically mean you are "owed" your preferred role.
