I went for the first time in 30 years this year on the Saturday before Divine Mercy Sunday. I went into the confessional with a pain in my neck and shoulder that I had for a couple weeks. I was going to see a chiropractor. I left the confessional pain free!

How great is Jesus’ love for us for constantly waiting in the Blessed Sacrament. Fr. Matthew, thank you for your beautiful homily on Jesus love for us, who never stops loving, but always giving us many opportunities to go back to Him in confession, that we may be able to receive Him worthily in Holy Communion. In the humility of our hearts, we must give our childlike response to focus on His invitation with love and gratitude. This was an excellent homily Father Matthew. Parish priests have got to be aware that the communion lines are long and the confession lines are very short. Just this past weekend I was watching the confessional as I was waiting on the altar preparing the reading and I don’t think I saw five people going into confession. Yet, there were three extraordinary ministers plus the priest at the 4 pm vigil MASS distributing the Holy Eucharist. I don’t think my parish is unique. The priests are just not talking about it and they need to do so. As another Marian helper wrote in over the weekend, the priests are not talking about hell or sin either. It is disheartening. God bless you and the MARIANS for passionately speaking the truth. I am thankful for the day I found you all. May God continue to bless and protect all of you and this wonderful Marian family.
