For that brown velvet dress with the V-front which you didn't like, you could try putting it on back to front (if the back is a square neckline that is). I know I've done this for several of my dresses where I'm just not comfortable with how plunging the neckline is and instead, I get a nice conservative front and an elegant open back. With some dresses it can be a bit too obvious it's being worn back to front (if the cups are highlighted for example or there is too much allowance for the boobage and hence the fabric puffs up), but with most, you can't actually tell. 😉💕

When I wear a long coat over mine, the dress just slides up and when I unbutton my coat, I find the dress has slid up to almost where my waist is. And that's so embarrassing! Do velvet dresses just do that or is it just mine?
The white and black dresses from the same brand are truly lovely, and to be honest the low rise beige skirt looks very good on you, but I think with a different top. If you decide the style is too unlike you, would Coco wear it?
