YESSS GUYS! We’re feeling knackered just watching you guys installing that RSJ, but the end product is totally worth the work, so props for doing it and saving so much dosh! Alfie as cute as ever, we love watching that boy work 😍 going to change our guess this week and go for £300k on the nose, after getting more perspective on what you guys have planned. Love you loads!
Hey you QT’s!!! Yeah was absolutely knackering, but defo worth saving the dosh! Who doesn’t love a bit of Alfie btw? 😎 Strong guess, we can’t wait to see you both soon! 💕☺️
Really enjoying your videos and I'm.a newbie. Top tip when digging in the garden you need a spade or a fork not a shovel. Will make your life so much easier x
Great to hear that we’ve got some newbies enjoying this new Reno series!! 🙌🏻 Love a useful tip, we’re novices to anything garden related so will be needing all the advice we can get!! 😃
Love how you take on any challenge, like building that joist bearing wall and putting the joist up, most people would get a professional but you guys go for it, DIY pros 🙌🏻💪🏻
Thanks Emma, we did definitely debate getting in a professional, but decided to go for it (and so far- no ragrets) 😉. Appreciate your support throughout!! ☺️
Hi Nicky and Harri, excited to follow you along. We are also renovating our first Property together in Scotland. Fortunately the wall we are taking down is not load bearing though 😅.
Great work Nicky and Harri. Looking forward to seeing everything come together. I reckon after all your hard work and if you follow the interior design, which looks fab! it will be worth £310k
Great progress and lots of hard work there, the new brick work looks solid 👍 Have to look into the price of grab lorries vs skip hire, as there are savings to be made there, if you are generating a lot of waste. Guessing 295k this week if it looks like the cgi!
Hey JD, awesome advice about the grab lorries- have looked into it to be fair and knew a skip was a better option this time, as we needed it for a few days!! Appreciate the estimate, looking forward to seeing who’s bagging themselves £250 ✌️😃
Looks great guys but be prepared to double your budget and double/triple the time you've estimated to do it... I'm currently in the midst of a house reno... and my estimates are consistently doubled or tripled!
Loving the content! Can’t wait to see what it’s like when it’s finished but also enjoying the process. Still staying strong at £350k as my guess but I’m just use to the house prices near me . 😬😂
I'm sticking with my £320,000 value. This probably depends on availability of public transport for commuting and food shopping. Really enjoying watching your progress...fortnightly is fine here ✅ At risk of repeating myself, you are such an enterprising couple. You will attract good people around you whatever you take on👌
Oooo, interesting guess, we love the justification of the market value estimate as well!! ✌️ Thanks so much for your kind words, we were also worried fortnightly uploads might deter people from tuning in, but great to see its not bothering you!! See you in a couple weeks!! 😊🙌🏻
Amazing work guys! We did the same with the RSJ, even our building inspector told us to have a go! We saved 2k also! My guess at the market value is £305k
It’s amazing what you can actually get done yourselves! Defo worth it with the money being saved too! Next job is to attempt to put the French doors in ourselves 🤣
Really loving this series so far! I’ve had a terrible 2 weeks! Just wanted to ask, how have the neighbours been with your renovation project? We’ve had a new fence put up and been slagged off, left right and centre on Facebook, and that’s just a for a fence that actually benefits them and we haven’t asked for a penny off them! And it is all legal and we had a professional in to do it, but apparently being reported to the council but yet they haven’t come to us directly to discuss with us 🤦♀️ We got their permission for access as had to be on the property to install and we even changed our plans after talking to them about how they would like it and now it’s all wrong, I think however we did it in the end it wouldn’t have been what they wanted 😢 so now I’m annoyed that we forked out more money to please them. Anyway your video has been a nice distraction for me today and I can’t wait to see the next one. My guess is £310k this week ❤️
Oh no that’s an awful situation to be in! We really feel for you - what a nightmare. it’s a shame hey didn’t just say upfront, rather than going to the council behind your back! We had been really lucky so far. Both neighbours have been really lovely towards us. Haven’t tried to put any fences up yet - so that is something we will have to tread carefully with, when the time comes! Thank you for taking time out your day to watch!
@@NickyandHarri it’s ok though, I just have to keep reminding myself that they look like the idiots, if the council do come round they’ll look at it and think what the hell are they talking about 😂 also you should have seen the state it was in before, as is there front and back garden and it looks beautiful now and it hides all their crap they would pile up against the old one. The neighbour is a builder and said for 8 years he was gonna do it and still not done. I think it’s just jealousy to be fair so I just feel sorry for them. I wish we could live next to nice people but can’t pick neighbours unfortunately. So glad you haven’t had any issues at all, in your video you said you had only met nice people since moving there so I didn’t think the neighbours would have been a problem for you ❤️
Remember to get them market value guesses in the comments, get it right for a chance to win £250! ✌️😊

Well done guys, keep up the hard work! Your doing great 👍
Thank you Jack - that really means so much to us!!
I like Harri, he proper looks like could be the son of Martin Cloones.
Can’t tell if that’s meant to be a compliment or not, should have seen my face when I googled him😂😭
The design photos are insane, dream house 😍 I’m gonna say 325k 🤔
Thanks Olivia, we LOVE them! Zaini has absolutely smashed it!!! We like to think you won’t be TOO far off with that guess! 😃
