Fighting the Heat and Big Oak Rounds

- Today we are using The Wolfe Ridge 35HO and our 12 foot conveyor to split some large 22 or 23 inch Oak rounds. Top if off with the heat and humidity!!! We only split 3 rounds into the 5 x 8 foot dump trailer, but it really put some wood in the there. We started with 20 rounds and i don't think we will get them all in the trailer at once. I'm curious to see how many rounds will go in the trailer before it's full. We will keep you posted on that. This will go into our large pile, to sell this fall.

Those big rounds require a lot of extra work but the commercial splitters help to cut the processing time down. Nice work!

We have been pretty lucky with way cooler than the rest of the country. 75- 85. Night low 60s. Changing to hi humidity and in the 90s by Thursday. You got a lot of wood from 3 or so rounds. Take it easy and drink a lot of water. Take care Ted and Sherri.

It got up to 116 in Northern California yesterday. Luckily I was in the truck with the A/C blasting doing deliveries.
