It doesn't matter who repeats the joke. It matters how the joke is delivered, and the delivery reveals the true talent and skill. Skillful comedians can take any joke and put their spin on it. For the most part, they all bring a uniqueness to the stage. It takes skill to be funny. Don't make a big deal about the material. Make a big deal about the delivery.

It’s dumb to bring it back up unless it’s to speak the truth about it. I just Think it’s bcredible he lied about it for over 20 years, that has to hurt for those he stole from. It’s not so much that you steal but lying about it for decades and gaslighting the victims as bitter etc, makes it so much worse. Same with Steve Harvey on Mark Curry’s jokes, the reciebts are there and the man Keeps lying and telling Curry to get a career. Sounds like Cedric and Steve go by same playbook. They’ve had SEVERAL individuals come forward with similar claims and it’s messed up because they’re indeed making money off of someone else’s jokes.

Comedians, are artists!! Why can't they be pillars in communities?? Right now, we are having a significantly important Black Culture win, with Kendrick's victory and it has become a global event, a renewal in how proud we are to identify as black...and that was delivered through hip-hop and Rap music! Our artists are key parts of our Black Culture and community and how we preserve our authentic , unique worth. And yes there is pride in having such a brilliant comedic genius as Katt to claim as our own and brag about, Cedric just need to own up to the lie and plagiarism and he 'll be welcomed back. All our children have seen the proof...we can't even cover for him...otherwise he was a source of pride for the culture as well

The funny thing is, That is the joke everyone remembers from Cedric in The Original Kings of Comedy Movie and I watched that movies as a Child with my dad. I also remember seeing Katt do that similar joke on comic view as well just can't remember if it was before of after TOKC but i remember watching it clearly

I can’t diminish his body of work based on a couple of jokes. But Katt and bloggers are about to big money from clicks talking about it. I just hate some of these round tables because people are in love with this joke stealing thing and get it wrong A LOT. People still think Bernie Mac last joke was stolen on the Kings of comedy and in reality, he was telling a street joke; a joke that has been passed around the community for a long time.
