I started my stash on the cheap... I got 80% of my yarn at yard sales and thrift stores. I have a good amount of a variety so I don't have to go to the store every time I want to do something. I have enough yarn to keep me busy for well over a year. But that's working full-time and not having my weekends 100% to myself.

You are the most positive and inspirational soul. I just get such a delight from watching your channel. I loved watching all the yarn openings, the Saver is some of my favorite as I primarily make Amigurumi and I feel it is nice and soft for the consistency of the toys but still sturdy and lasting. I have been told by my family that I have to hold off on feeding my yarn obsession for a little while - just enough so our house doesn’t look like a Joann’s outlet (lol), but so much of what you showed is totally going to be on my list when I get my next order. Hi Christa, WOW, WOW, WOW, I love the colours and the yarn, my favourite has to be Alira and Favourite although they are all gorgeous. I am making the drunken granny blanket from your video and just loving it. As a stated before I have just restarted my crochet journey and loving watching your videos. I am waiting for my first order from ICE and can’t wait for it to arrive. I was taught to crochet when I lived in Turkey so follow the US crochet stitches which is so easy for me with learning that way. I used to crochet with Dantel which is a super fine cotton making motifs for table cloths etc. Love your enthusiasm. Stay safe and much love from the UK.

It was all anticipation waiting on your big Ice Yarns reveal - then we got a box opened and it was "saver" - sigh - not only generic acrylic yarn but white and beige, ho-hum - - - - - - - then the second box was opened and "ok, here we go!"
Loved the "spray paint" but what to do with it - and then you mentioned something about a basket - THAT'S IT! Definitely in my next order
And yes, love the crunch and crinkle - not sure why so many youtubers apologize about the noise - it's the best part of an unboxing

Omg. I am new to crochet. But I bought my first ICE yarn last week and I fell so in ❤❤❤ with it. I didn't realize how much difference there were in yarn brands, but bit is there... I still don't know what the better brands are but i have One or two that I've already marked off the list of I'm working on a really significant project.
