Appreciate you sharing this video and pro tip on the fender washers. I've been looking for a solid phone mount that doesn't shake or drop the phone. Installed mine yesterday in my 2021 Tundra with 2 phone mounts and mounted my 8 switch panel to it as well.

Hey Joe!…it does block some, but not enough to annoy me…lol…I honestly don’t use it all that much on there…at times I take it for work but it’s definitely not an everyday thing…haven’t been stopped for it yet, I don’t think it blocks enough to get in any trouble for it…hope that helps!
@@NitroZ18Fishing I was wondering the same thing. I saw Ram Mounts has an extension arm that you could use in a circumstance where you want to mount your iPad but not obscure your view of the road. I'll probably use that and extend and lower the iPad a bit to mitigate this concern.

Do you get any reflection from the glowing ring off of the windshield at night? I have the old version without the USBs and am thinking of upgrading or retrofitting.
Also, it's worth noting for any first time users that it's important to make sure the Add-A-Circuits are installed in the correct orientation so the new fuse protects the newly added load. It's easy to test if you don't have a voltmeter. Just pull the top fuse and see if you still get power to the new device. If so, flip the Add-A Circuit around.
Hey Matt!…I haven’t noticed any reflection at all honestly…I haven’t necessarily looked for it but it definitely hasn’t caught my attention at all…and yes sir, that’s important with those add a fuse holders, as long as ya put the new fuse in the slot with the wire going to the new accessory you’re good to go, thanks for watching!!

I’m not sure what that piece is actually called, but if you contact your local dealer they should be able to order it for ya…let me know how ya make out, if ya have any trouble I’ll see if I can find a part number for ya!
Thanks for the video I am installing mine today but I notice in the fuse box I dint have a 5amp fuse I have a 7.5 fuse, do I need to connect it to the cig or the ACC fuse? I have a 2017 CM SR5 if that makes any difference
No prob, thanks for watching!…all depends on when you want the outlets to have power…do you see any 5 amp fuse that says “IGN”?…if not you would be ok to go to the ACC or Cig fuse as well…just don’t want it to have power at all times because of that LED ring around outlets…hope that helps!
@@NitroZ18Fishing Thanks I was able to get it working, the only problem I have now is that my phone is wiggling around. I added the thick washers but I still have the vibration but it beats having to get my phone from center console when I am using Trail Apps.
