Claude from Lovely Princess did hate Athanasia though, same with the WMMAP Claude. The only difference is that WMMAP Claude grew to love Athanasia whereas LP Claude continued hating her

@Shirumu the black magic only erases the memories he had with Diana because he couldn’t deal with the pain of losing her. It hardly affects his emotions cuz he never really had any to begin with. WMMAP Claude was able to get rid of his black magic tho (cuz of Athy), whereas LP Claude never got the chance too because he kept Jennette (an organism of pure black magic) around him which just fueled his own black magic more. Ofc, none of them knew that so LP Claude ended up dying ignorantly
