It is difficult to comprehend what I just watched. The some of the techniques employed are challenging with machine tools… and to do it with so many intricate parts and detail precise enough to assemble it without adhesives or fasteners? Grandpa made leaf spring suspension and working steering out of wood!…. By hand! If I were to successfully carve just one of the fire extinguishers or shovels, I would feel like I had created a masterpiece, but for Grandpa…it’s just an accessory! I am in awe. He has “won” woodworking.
I am a car model collector and I know the scale models made with details or whatnot. Grandpa Amu really meticulously did a great job in building a scale model that actually has all the details like its metal counterparts. Big respect Grandpa Amu.😎 You're cool.
