Udarge is an unknown dish and so it is an unknown name. But the point is, healt is more important in this dish. Some leaves available in the nature are very good for our health, but we can't consume them directly. So, this is the way to intake such leaves' gists indirectly with the help of other dish. This dish is nothing but idli. The batter is idli batter, but the preparation method is special because of health point. The leaves such as jack leaves, cinnamon leaves, cluster fig leaves and pongame oil tree leaves are used here. Those leaves are arranged in separate bowls and idli batter is poured in it, then steam cooked for 45 minutes. Such leaves remove the toxicity in our body. The point of conclusion is, intake of some leaves indirectly, which are good for our health. Consuming those leaves once in a while, acts as a health booster and preventive of many diseases.
Similarly, a healthy rasam by using nerugala leaves and drumstick leaves & moong dal also shown as a side dish for the udarge.

Ingredients:-
Idli rice- 4 glasses
urad dal- 1&1/2 glasses
jack leaves- 5-6
cinnamon leaves- 5-6
pongame oil tree leaves- 5-6
cluster fig leaves- 5-6
salt to taste
For rasam-
moong dal 1 cup
drumstick leaves & nerugala leaves
bird eye chillies, ginger, curry leaves,
tamarind, turmeric powder.
