i made my school badminton team because of u thank u so much i hope u understand how stressed out i was about this tryout to get on the team and with one rule that nobody knew i racked up points and headed towards victory thank u so much
Coach mam, the way you explained the rule is fantastic and easy to understand.... Now I m getting the basic rule ... Of badminton... People play just for fun...they don't the basic rule.... Which I think everyone at least know the fundamental rule of badminton....thanks you so much COACH.... watching yours video from INDIA.....
Thanks coach Kennie for excellent content in this channel. Some doubles rule deep-dive questions. 1. Does the receiving player always have to stand on his side of court? In other words, if he returns with his feet touching his partner's court, will it be opponent's point? 2. If you know initial serving and receiving positions of players, can you calculate back to determine their positions in mid-play?
1. As a recieved, you can only stand within the box you a re recieving from. 2. You can calculate sure and that would be your anticipation of return. Hopefully, the anticipation is right😁🏸
Waah I’m new to badminton and it was so embarrassing playing a friendly match with my friend’s friends because I didn’t know how the serving worked:,D thank youu
Thanks for your very clear explanations. I had the chance to discover this great sport by playing a little bit on a Chinese University campus and I truly like it. I never understood really the meaning of this field line at the back of the field (was it for single or double games?). now, I got it: delimiting the service area. I'm planning to watch all your videos and practice to prepare for my next travel to China!
@@CoachKennieAsuncion I started watching your videos, and there is so much great advice for beginners. I should be in China in a year, with the opportunity to play there. I have one year to train a little bit to not make them ashamed of me when I play. Here in Canada, hockey is not a sport but a religion. I have the same feeling about badminton in China.
Our center is located in manila, philippines but we are closing it down due to the pandemic. However, we have programs online and a few face to face trainings with young competitive players in other venues. I will be coming up with online trainings and adults can avail of that. Just finishing up on some projects and ventures and will get to finish our packages for online training. Thanks! 😁🏸
I think its just making it even for both in terms of court. Especially in international competitions there are venues that have some draft from the aircon on one side or maybe a blind spot due to certain light structures😁🏸
Thanks for the video madam well explained and Understandable one doubt madam if racket cross top of the net to other side while net smash then what it is correct or foul
Racket should not go over your side of the court but front attack do have that forward movement and sometimes goes a bit over the net, that should be ok but it will depend on what your umpire sees and decide😁🏸
How do you keep track after a long rally and it is side over who is on the odd or even side? So you have to remember where you were standing for the serve before the long rally? What if you cannot remember? Old scoring system was easy to keep track.
Based on where u were standing when the serve was made, the one who gets the point gets the score. Person on the right receives the serve if score of opponent is an even number and receiver on the left takes the serve if opponents score is an odd number😁🏸
For singles you can serve and aim for the box behind while in doubles, a serve should not reach the baseline box otherwise that is out. But after the serve shots can reach the back area😁🏸
Thank you coach for video.. One question, what is rule for which player will be receiver in doubles game? Is it any player of the two can be receiver? Or they need to change just like server change after break in service. Kindly answer
hello coach, can you describe and show the correct way to serve to avoid making faults while serving? don’t really get the part of rackethead must face downwards
Mam i dont have time for now really need a quick question even google confused me.... Is the whole back boxes in doubles out ? Plz explain.... thank u🙏
Mam if the server serve apart from diogonaly, but to the opposite side court in and player of this court receive this suttle ,the rally is going or not.
Hi Coach, sorry i have a question... if the server serve, does the receiver can move out from box to hit the shuttle... for example if the server serve a bit high and slow just over the net, then the receiver hit the shuttle near net to hot the shuttle to the ground... it is consider faul?
Firstly when the serve is near the net, its a giveaway so dont hit it & its an automatic point but if you’r unsure if its falling to the line or maybe accidentally hit it back, the rally goes on until someone misses. Once the shuttle is hit from the serve it has to go back in to the other side of the court😁🏸
When we are serving and the shuttle lands on the line its an out, but when the rally is going on then if the shuttle lands on the line is it considered an in or out?
Hi Ma'am best regards, I'm always confused by who is receiving the opponent serve is it the last service or the one who is standing in service court. Example: Blue player is the last service and he serve at the right side now the service is over and the opponent needs to serve on the left side. Is it the blue player to receive maam? Or the player standing on the left side? Thank you in advance for answering ma'am 😄❤
In serving, when the shuttle hits the pole holding the net and falls within the designated serving box and not returned by the receiver, is that a point for the server ? also, during a rally, a player returns the shuttle and hits the pole and falls on the opponent's court and not returned, is it a point for that player who hit the pole ?

What if my racket clashes with another player's racket and the shuttle hits my racket and goes to the other side?
WELL THERE NO ERROR ON THAT , AS FAR THE SHUTTLE DIDNT HIT TWICE ...
As long as only one racket hit the shuttle and it goes over the net then the rally continues on. 😁🏸

Very impormative video!!! I just have some question about serving rules, what if I committed service fault is that an athomatic point for my opponent?
The last time I played badminton the rules used to be different. Thanks for the new rules.
For serving it's the small box?? Inner line or outer line for left and right??
I have the same question heeehe😅

Good morning mam, in doubles if the rally is on the when taking the rocket tow bats are clash is allowed
Clash is allowed as long as its not a double hit to the shuttle😁🏸

Yes… that is applicable when moving to the 3rd set😁🏸

I have one question about double players how to remember or know who's one and who's one receive the service?
Based on where u were standing when the serve was made, the one who gets the point gets the score. Person on the right receives the serve if score of opponent is an even number and receiver on the left takes the serve if opponents score is an odd number😁🏸

If you touch the net after the cork lands is it fault r not pls explain
When you touch the net but shuttle is no longer at play then that is ok😁🏸
@@CoachKennieAsuncion thanks a lot mam another question is when bat crosses over the net when is it considered fault
Difference between the box ends while ur serving in singles and doubles
For singles you can serve and aim for the box behind while in doubles, a serve should not reach the baseline box otherwise that is out. But after the serve shots can reach the back area😁🏸

Mam i m from india...
I had a doubt in service...
If the sever hit the shuttle in the line of the long box ,it can concider as in?
Once the serve has been hit or returned back, rally must continue on. 😁🏸
Can the cork touch the middle line of the reciever's end while serving?
Yes 😁🏸
When we are serving and the shuttle lands on the line its an out, but when the rally is going on then if the shuttle lands on the line is it considered an in or out?
As long as its the cork of the shuttle that lands on the line first (which is usually the case) then its in😁🏸
