NOW THAT IS THE KIND OF SANDWICH WE SHOULD BUY, MORE VEGETABLE AND LESS MEAT. HINDI KATULAD NUNG JUNK AT OVERPRICED NA TINITINDA NG MCDO AT JOLLIBEE. I would actually prefer na steamed yung hotdogs instead na fried para less cost and mas healthy. And maybe use sliced cheese instead para less waste. Because a dollar in PH can spread more like an oil slick than in US. You can have 3 decent meals a day for just ~$5 tops. There's no 'tip' culture in PH. They just don't care whether you give a 'tip' or not because they just don't expect any of it. They are more concerned about your experience while dining, and hope you come back again soon. They don't send their elders to retirement homes.

Filipinos developed a taste for hot dogs and ketchup (inventing their own out bananas when Del Monte and Heinz were unavailable because of war) as a territory and it never went away. They are now a major manufacturer and like we Hawaiians have invented all sorts of dishes for it.
