William is the burnt out man. And a spirit like Cassidy’s haunts him and keeps him alive so he can go through torture. The nurses and doctors try to kill home but fail due to the spirit. (The black hair child)

!HEAVY SPOILER WARNING!
The burnt guy is known as 'The Man in Room 1280' and he's a parallel to William. Andrew is the kid with the crocodile mask, a parallel to Cassidy. The doctors want to kill the man in room 1280, and has tried many ways. But Andrew's spirit doesn't want him to die & keeps him in a state of suffering. The Man makes signals with his hands, saying his wish is to go to a pizzaria. So the main character in the book (i cant remember his name, I think it was Arthur?) takes him to the pizzaria, and the Man explodes.

As a fic writer who usually writes stuff where their characters find themselves in eternal guilt I say you pulled this off well (one character I have made actually lives with eternal guilt because she tried to stop her father from killing a child and she constantly blames herself for being to slow to stop him)

No he's just a pastor who unknownly wheeled Afton to Fazbear Delivery Centre and watched him explode allowing Andrew to spread his agony to numerous animatronics in the Fazbear Frights Universe

Like Bob from Bunny Call, he didn't die nor his family when his cabin was getting infuriated by Ralpho but after realising that the actor who was supposed to be Ralpho overslept, Bob just sits there horrified with no clue what he fought last night

He was just trying to fulfil the wish the man before he dies but he doesn't know that the monster the killer the one started this whole mess and Arthur had to watch him explode
