Recently I verified that there are changes in testosterone levels after abstaining from sex for 2 months. Max I could able to restrain was 6 months during the time I did my Masters. And now and then I do 1-2 months.. . It is very hard, however, to abstain. I keep failing for simple reason that mind looks for ultimate sweetness when is at peak frustration or zero motivation. It is so wonderous thing in Nature how the mind finds that sweetness in eyes of women and feels the sex drive. I think mind first needs the maturity to handle frustration & discouragement.
Absolutely , at your lowest point , you feel support in form of enjoyment like sex , alcohol ,comfort etc and that is where you lose the control...but I believe a bhramchari in his 40s can beat a non bhramchari in his 20s...semen retention has a strange power...it removed my depression, made me joyful person full of AIMS and energy to achieve those aims...
You know failing is part of the game. What matters is not whether you fail but whether you give up. Keep failing and start over.
Failure will happen until you feel where semen comes from in your body. Till then fail and practice. By then your brain will come to know what is the body of a girl, what is the pleasure it gives you, life of the pleasure etc. At present our heart (emotions) wants to know the pleasures a girl provide. But really it's our brain that which should know what all these things are. Till then fail and try.

thanks for sharing your thoughts @blackandwhiteboard @binoythomas2974 . Now little improvement on frustration. I found guru (not anyone physically living) to myself.. I pray to him lot.. It's really impactful. But now what I found is it is not just depression or frustration but now I feel sexual urge that I have in me for lifetimes is the main thing that holds me to maintain celibacy ..and not to go beyond 2-3 months.. .. Jagada (quareling) mindset is something I got understanding with Guru.. Looking everyone with divine eyes . Oh so sweet .. I can see muslim, hindu , white and what not.. My Guru in all of them.. At least that is the practice I am up to now.. Peace within myself is something I am looking for.

It's an ideal only...Some great people like Swami Vivekananda claimed to have succeeded to curb sexual thought means it cannot be done without another thought to distract the mind since all great yogis have probably realized that sexual thought is something nobody can avoid!! The point is whether you constantly indulge in sexual thought or just release it without resistance or struggle since it's an integral part of our life. I don't personally vilify it as evil but constantly indulging in it probably saps your willpower.
I dont think you need to have another thought to override such thoughts. Yogi has some mastery on their mind from intense sadhana which naturally allows them to be in a state of bliss where such thought seems to be of no importance or will not occur. Even we dont always have sexual thought. When we are so happy for some reason, we never has such thought.
So we need to do intense sadhana or else we cant be like him.
How to train the mind and the thinking like Swamiji that no sexual thought can never arise in the mind and the sexual energy is transformed Ojas like Swami Vivekananda. Plz help me Navin Ji I need ur help plz guide me 🙏🙏🙏

So many people doubting his no sexual thought remark. Clearly these people haven't studied the works or lives of ancient Indian rishis. They exactly led this kind of life. At least from a sanatha dharma perspective, this is nothing new and completely possible. How do you think the great Upanishads or Vedas were received and transmitted in guru-shisya parampara?. Do you think corrupt minds filled with lust can grasp subtle nuances of sanatha dharam?. Do you know why the Vedas and Upanishads were never written down and orally transmitted?. It's because the guru-shisya minds were pure to such an extent, they could retain and repeat volumes of Shruti from the Vedas through memory alone.
