Looks like a great board! Well done! Unfortunately I’m not a fan of Carbon decks. Owned one before and the stiffness was not for me. My knees and ankles need that flex.
According to SportsTracker I've only hit 29.5. I have not been riding with the throttle pinned. It's FAST. www.sports-tracker.com/workout/alexanderwilliams/5d67117217683a1a004cccc2
just ordered the board, but im trying to see whats riders perspectives on the wheels. i ordered the 190mm version, but i feel i may be too high the ground. 97mm wheels look great too, but im scared of sliding with PU wheels after a longboarding accident not too long ago
I have been trying to decide between this board and the new evolve gtr carbon. Is there any battery lag at anytime of the battery drain & what type of batteries are used to power the board ? And last is there any way to disable the bottom led lights on the board & only leave the front & rear lights on thanks
We use LG MH1 3.2Ah cells in a 10S5P configuration for a total of a 36V 16Ah pack. There is minimum voltage sag but of course like all batteries as you drain the voltages does drop somewhat. If you don't want the underbody lighting we can disable them or you can cover them with tape.
Evolve doesn't have the best reputation right now. LG batteries. I feel no lag, but it just gets weaker when the battery is low. I think it has a stealth mode. ILAN builds them custom so just give your input when you order. Wear helmet and stuff !!! !!! !!!
So....like, can we get a version that has AWD? Maybe lower KV motors on the rear and higher KV up front....one way bearings all around...and a switch from 2wd to 4wd on the remote? ooooh dignity that'd be sick though it'd then be close to $4k I imagine. Well, I guess I don't need TWO kidneys....
can this board be set to go reverse instead of brake? there there are a few hills with stops where i live, and brake alone is usually not enough to stop the electric skateboard from going down hill.
Our belt drive systems with automatic belt tensioning is super user friendly. No downsides at all to using belts. Tried and true. And the motors are far enough away from the ground that risks of belt tears are minimal.
Metroboard Electric Skateboard thanks! Is it also bigger in size? I think it is, not sure. Please elaborate. What about portability? Lastly, what real range estimates are the MetroX getting?
@@chgofirefighter it is 47" long with AT wheels about 2" longer than Evolve. But MetroboardX has a handle which makes it real convenient to pull like a trolley. Range is 25 - 30 miles with Street Wheels. 15 - 20 miles with AT wheels.
You should lower the price. For the same money you can get LaCroix Jaws with higher top speed, better battery (12s4p discharging at 15 amps per cell.) Spec wise, Jaws is twice the board at the same price.
It's not just about the top speed and battery size. It's about the entire riding experience. With double kingpin trucks on the MetroboardX, carving is much better than on the LaCroix. And with double kingpin trucks going super fast is prone to speed wobbles so we aren't trying to compete with "straight line" boards like the LaCroix and Kaly as far as top speed is concerned. But at 31 mph top speed, you won't be lacking any adrenaline rushes! Also the MetroboardX allows you to easily swap between street and AT wheels and comes with both sets of wheels. LaCroix is AT only. And styling wise, the MetroboardX looks much sexier! We are actually going to raise our prices by $200 in May to cover increased manufacturing costs. But all of our customers say it's well worth the price!
@@MetroboardElectricSkateboard If its not about top speed than Evolve is an outstanding carver and its is $500 cheaper. Why would you need to go fast "with double kingpin trucks going super fast is prone to speed wobbles"

that looking good, i want one in future

most of the video shows it on very smooth pavement in parks. For an all terrain skate board is should be showing how it does on rough trails.
Want this!

Replacement to boosted board because the company shut down
Whats the range for a 200lb rider street and at?
Up to 30 miles street. 20 miles AT
can this board be set to go reverse instead of brake?
there there are a few hills with stops where i live, and brake alone is usually not enough to stop the electric skateboard from going down hill.
Yes that is exactly how it works. After braking it automatically goes into reverse to ensure you reach a hard stop which regen braking can't do alone
Does it have suspension. I ask since I hear riding on trails can be draining when you rather than the board are absorbing energy.
It does not have suspension. But with AT pneumatic tires it definitely helps absorb a lot of vibration.
Is the waiting period still 8 weeks.
Around 6-8 weeks
kinda wish there was a direct drive variant Im not a big fan of belt drive

It's a customized version of the VX1
