Hey guys! Thanks for featuring my set from Climb Cancel and some of the in-game dialogue I worked on throughout the game. As they said in the video, this game feels fantastic and I hope the ride continues for a long time to come. Hopefully I can call the action as a commentator at Combo Breaker, but if not I'll do my best to show the world why this is truly a fantastic fighting game with a mix of Darkseid, Omega Shredder, Donatello and Batman. What I really love about this game is not just how knowledge is rewarded so heavily, but how the game rewards you for doing good things rather than give you a crutch for being lazy like so many other AAA games do nowadays. The Omega Effect (EX moves) is offered by doing good things throughout the match like getting the first hit or avoiding getting hit, same reason I wasn't against Gems in SFxT other than the pay-to-win garbage which is thankfully absent here. As a behavior analyst I find that reinforcing people for doing something right is the best way for them to learn and I wish other games adopted that philosophy for their own mechanics.
