What a fabulous video of a crazy winter challenge! Loved it, especially the overlay & your interim comments & also the tension. Jeez those descents, especially, the one with grass & mud in the centre 😱 (good job I didn’t have a heart rate monitor on💥). Anthony is a star in his own right - always so chilled & matter of fact - a perfect cycling mate. Well done both of you 🌟🌟👏👏👏
Fantastic effort Ed, I reckon had the road conditions been more favourable you'd have got under the 1 hour. Still 922 metres climbing in well under an hour is some serious power.

I enjoyed that Ed, cheers, I think BOC should do a 2 hour version of this challenge as the potential routes that could be used would increase significantly. I personally like this type of video, good fun!

Looks like great fun! Except the ice part. Roads are icy here as well, can't wait to get outside again. Even though the weather is bad in England you're still pretty lucky you can ride outside on a road bike, beats riding on the turbo any day.
So close mate. A nice day without needing to worry about ice or wear an extra 5kg of thermal clothing you'd have smashed it. Would love to see you revisit it even if it doesn't qualify for the BoC event - I think I'll give my route a go at some point but just to see how quickly I can do it, no chance of sub 1hr!

No ice, full hill climb peak, skinsuit, etc and you could smash the FK outta this
