I would add Imi, founder of krav maga, but especially Morihei Ueshiba founder of Aikido, Cus D'Amato who maybe wasnt a champion, but he trained a legend, which changed the boxing world forever
All these great men helped path the way to modern martial arts, while I have a great Love for what Lee did and Americanized martial arts all these men were invaluable to its legacy.
THE WING CHUN THAT LEADS BRUCE LEE INTO JEET KUN DO PRINCIPLES ADAPTABILITY, SPEED, STRENGTH, DISCIPLINE, CONTROL , CALMNESS! HURRAY BRAVO TO THE GREAT MASTERS IP MAN !
The top martial artist have lived hundreds and hundreds of years ago ; take for example the legendary Pai Mei , Ng Mui and shaolin Lo Han fighters ! Just out of this planet❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You left out European masters, such as George Silver, Zachary Wilde, Fiore dei Liberia, Hans Dobringer etc. Europe has as much martial history as Asian countries, and their arts are still being studied to this day.
That's what happens with A.I. voiceovers. Mispronunciation of basic, common names are always a giveaway. An actual human being would have to be living under a rock to get these things wrong. I hope! Check it Out! Ciao!!!
You have 1 person only who actually fought duels to the death and in 3 wars yet you put some actor in first place and also who doesnt have a fighting record of any kind. The mind boggles
People who openly knock Steven Seagal as a martial artist without having a personally discussion to giving him constructive criticism are definately way below his level of understanding of the Martial Arts and they have failed to fully understand or aquire true self respect.
@hellohello8556 First of all I like him,but he has a huge ego and bullies cast memmbers. He said he could beat Michael White,Jean Van Dam and Bruce Lee.Even mention Lee was over rated.
I would add Masutatsu Oyama founder of Kyokushin Karate,
Mas oyama also deserves a mention in this list, I think.
A top 5 that I can definitely agree with. Sijo Bruce Lee is my no 1. Always will be. 🙏🏼
