The small downside is even though the have access at the front the toilets are not accessible. But I have been 4 times and coming back in Feb for 3 weeks. Try the sunshine hotel and residence on so 8 for hotel accommodation and I would advise visiting hotels for accessible rooms when you are in town. Anymore questions please ask

Great to catch up as always David. Town is plenty busier than it was in July. The little beer bar with live music i go to in Soi Diana had over a hundred people in it Wed night from 10pm to midnight, not a spare seat or lap to be had. Thanks for the ride around as always

Exactly around early 2000 you could go out with 2 or 3000 baht and have a good night including company now you would need 6000 a night including company and there was very little short time now that's all they will do wham bang thank you mam and they are gone next in the old days you had to kick them out they wouldn't leave 😅
I have seen where the dollar has gained a little on the pound and euro but hardly anything on the baht. It seems Thailand refuses to fluctuate their exchange rate during the high season.
What you have to weigh up as well is Vietnam and Cambodia and the phillipines are getting more and more popular as well and like you say there's far more bars and complexes in pattaya as well these days
Good video the town is noticeably busier. I first visited in 2009 stayed at the royal Cliffe. Only went into walking street. And the beach road. Bearing in mind furthest I want was miles mall. Lol. Used to be a cracking Irish bar in ws. Didn't allow unaccompanied in nor did it have ladies. How times have changed lol

My take on motorbikes parking up everywhere let's just look at LK Metro do you really think a fire engine could go down there safely if say iRovers was on fire it would be carnage pushing the bikes out of the way of the fire engine, if this happened in the UK the bikes would be smashed up and the owners of the bikes would have to pay for the damage to the fire engine and then the police would be giving out tickets like confetti to the owners of the bikes 🤨 I don't know what the law is in Thailand but that's what they definitely should be doing, 6 years ago there wasn't as many bike parked in LK Metro you cannot walk down LK Metro without tripping over one.

It was pretty empty 15 years ago. Sone kind of canopy structure, One tree, a couple of restaurants on the side. But not much overall.
