It's good that he flinches still from time to time. I've worked in a petshop for 10 years, and flinching, and reflexes has saved me a bite on the hand way more times than I can count. Getting desensitized and comfortable is what gets you bit.

You're actually filming things no one has ever seen at those speeds before, which is both educational and highly entertaining. I particularly like the segments on filming animals (I think insects would be great subjects), as you can get so much information from the footage. Keep it up!

Basically they plunge their tongue straight down into the water, then close their mouth around the droplet which shoots upwards as the water fills the void. Plus, I hear RUclips is fond of cat videos.
Fun fact, since humans evolved alongside snakes, where snakes were a big danger for humans for such a long period of time, it is physically nearly impossible not to recoil from a snake lunge. It is one of your most ingrained evolutionary instincts; recoiling specifically from snakes. It's even nearly impossible to train yourself to do it.

The reflexes we have to these predators are nearly impossible to learn to overcome. You can train yourself to not flinch when someone slaps you, but you'll find that it is much, much harder to not flinch from a snake strike.

The thing about chameleon camouflage is it's not 100% perfect and see-through like you'd believe. It's more of a shift of colors to blend in with surroundings like your typical army camouflage.
It’s actually not for camouflage more emotions like they get really bright when they want to get a mate or “fight” other males they get darker when they are cold and need to absorb light
