Goddayum. A band making very interesting metalcore with cybernetic, glitch hop influences written all over it? I'm genuinely a fan of this fusion, it is just perfect. Along with the video game samples. I am IN LOVE
brad being stunlocked at 32:21 was so amusing, thank you for putting this up on this channel, was such a fun stream(apart from Switchblade OST, it still sucks)
The modern Nu Metal scene has been killing it these past years. Much more impressive than the mainstream Alt Metal scene. Some notable bands are Diamond Construct, Dealer, Alpha Wolf (their album this year sucked tho), Darko, Thrown, Omerta, Tallah. You might wanna check them out.
i think if he enjoys parts of this he'll definitely enjoy dealer as whole, as pretty much all his complaints dont apply to that band. but i dont think he'd be willing to promote a small artist with a history like that. But now.. with Matriphagy by Tallah you could be onto something.
All really good bands. Specifically, a lot of these nu metalcore bands are coming from Australia. And I actually liked the new Alpha Wolf album, but the new Dealer album wasn't very good imo.
@@dostwood5103 new dealer album was kinda meh, they doing the same sound they've done for 5 years straight. and atp none of the members are even the same so they're just copying the ideas of what the first guitarist did lol
I feel like Brad would really, really like Soulkeeper's Holy Design album also Diamond Construct's guitarist carries this band broski does most of those effects with pedals and does it live.
These guys are about to be one of my favourite bands. Going to see them on tour in feb opening for Windwaker and I’m gonna ask if they’re planning to release an instrumental version, because this album goes so hard. So many noises and genre mixes, I love it. It makes me laugh at times, but I love how weird it sounds.
this band imo always has had great production, great ideas, and incredible musicianship. but they just do not know how to structure their songs or albums. the way they keep throwing in the corpse husband type phonk beats really removes you entirely from the rest of the sound. certain songs will fuck so hard and be 10/10s while others will be completely ruined by the lyrics. great potential and gotta support my aussie boys
@@NigelGrab the thing is, i like songs like hit it back because they'll fully embrace how fun and energetic their music is. when they're trying to be serious and then throw down some 2017 soundcloud stuff i feel embarrassed listening to it LMFAOO.
The fact they’re Australian is no surprise. With them, Alpha Wolf and Darkmatter and a few more I’m definitely forgetting, that continent is producing metalcore as massive as their spiders
@@losingapathy yeah you contradicted yourself dude. this album is not serious or trying to be serious in any capacity. the lyrics in Switchblade OST should make it glaringly obvious that this isn't to be taken seriously. If you want taken seriously, then listen to their older stuff pre-hit it back. This may have serious ELEMENTS, but it's not a serious album nor should it be taken as such. It's a couple of aussie boys having fun
Ngl, I kinda like most of the lyrics. Only exception being Switchblade. Like, I get that that song is about the negative feedback their 2021 single got, but man, the lyrics on that song are just so cringe, I honestly wish they put Hit It Back on the album instead of Switchblade.
Brad and chat soying out cause some of the lyrics sound Ronnie esque (bet they assumed the band right wing just from that lol) when they’re talking about one of their old songs is so funny, they became haters and the whole project was ruined for it. Australians saying white boy isn’t the same
The casual metal listener cannot comprehend this albums genre mix or production
Faded is hands down my favorite song off the album. They're all insane, but that one has such an awesome groove and melody.

i was not expecting a brad reaction of this lmao
same
Glad Brad reacted to this, this album flew under everyone's radar but it's my favorite metal album this year.

i really enjoyed the new alpha wolf album personally but each to their own, a lot of amazing bands on that list though

Good album. Good band☺

He’s so insane though I do miss the old riffs without the excess pedal work

I agree. Like, 'hit it back' has the coolest shit going on musically, but the lyrics are just atrocious
