The end of this video was so kind. My mom and dad divorced when I was 5. I'm 32 and still get teary eyed thinking about it, it did a lot to me, it changes you. I'm a mom of 4, married my high school sweetheart (married 14, together 17)😊 and not a day goes by that I don't think and appreciate the fact that we're together and happy. I love my family so very much and couldn't be happier. I wish anyone who had a bad year the best 2019 and I hope everything gets better for you. Merry Christmas Brittani that was classy, compassionate and beautiful!

I cried the entire ending of this video as I was nursing my son. We were blessed with our first baby this year but unfortunately, my marriage has become extremely toxic and looks like it will be ending soon. We had an incredibly hard day yesterday full of conflict and ultimately sadness and your video resonated with me so much. In spite of my own Christmas, I loved watching yours and seeing the genuine happiness and joy in your day and hope I can get there too again one day. You always make me cry!!! You have the sweetest soul!! My son is grown now but when he was just 3 months old I was getting a divorce from his dad & I had to move in with my parents at 22 yrs old & I was sitting on the floor by the Christmas tree after opening presents nursing my son & I just started sobbing!! I just had that overwhelming feeling of how did this happen?? I did it all right my husband was the first man I was ever with & we worked hard 3 years after we got married & got our home & cars & nice things & then we planned our son even down to the month I wanted to have him & here I sit alone on the floor on Christmas Day nursing my new baby alone.... It does get better tho because God is good!! It just made me stronger so it was all worth it!! I just love you to pieces!! We can all relate to you so much!! We love you!! ❤️❤️

I was newly divorced in December 2012. I had spent 10 1/2 years with my ex and that Christmas was hard on me. I had family but there was a void, a feeling of failure. Thankfully I didn’t have any kids with him so I can only imagine how hard that would have been. But I relate when you say that it gets better. I’m engaged to the love of my life and we have a 17 month old. Our son’s second Christmas this year was amazing! Our first Christmas last year as a family showed me how things had gotten better, and this Christmas just proved that it’s better every year. I am so blessed this past Christmas to have given my son a fun and exciting Christmas. He loved opening the gifts and got excited with each new toy! I loved seeing his excitement and it warmed my heart to know that my life has been given the greatest purpose! So yes, it does get better. ❤️

Thank you for the kind words at the end bc even though I haven't been through this as an adult, I was that child in second grade having my only christmas with only one parent due to a temporary separation and to tell you I dont remember even seeing my dad at all that Christmas. A lot changed after the divorce but my mom always did her best to make it special even when she was struggling. I’m glad you found a wonderful man to make a family with. I do something similar to your caramel pretzels... I take rolo candies, put 1 on a square pretzel and bake it in the oven for a few minutes and they're so good

My father passed away in January, this was the first one without him, and it was hard. It still is. Watching you and your family gives me hope that someday I'll be able to watch my future children open presents with my husband and my mom there, and have family over. 😊 I live a little vicariously through you. Brittani I love watching all of your videos! You are such a kind hearted person. My parents separated right before christmas when I was 16 it was a rough holiday that year. I'm not sure how well you all get along with the exes but I really hope one day it calms down for us. My husband and his ex divorced a little over 10 years ago and it sadly gets worse as the years go on, always a competition on her end and I've been with him for 10 years now. His poor daughters always have to hear their mom bashing us in front of them and my Christmas wish is it one day will end 😞, Merry Christmas and happy holidays to your family
