Winter Field Day takes place once a year at the end of January. This year a small group of us went to Mt. Vaca. Both the weather and HF conditions were great!

Thanks! Yeah, it was crazy seeing the snow up there. HF is great up there, next to no noise. High band has a little intermod, but it's not bad.

They have practice tests, study material, and you can find a testing center including online ones. Check it out!
Ham radio is a lot of fun and there is so many things you can do with it or it can even complement an existing hobby! Follow that link Mike dropped. Take a bunch of practice tests online and then sign up for the real one, which is the same as the practice tests.

Good video this antenna is really very good, just one question does it work on the 11 meter band?
Did you erect the beam under the high voltage power lines or is just the angel of the camera? Hope this is not the case as the results may not be that good.
That Brazilian contact at 10:40, PY4GG, made a pretty cool arduino-based antenna rotator. Looks like he had plans to market it but doesn't seem to have happened. Check it out on his RUclips channel "Alexandre Zerbeto PY4GG".
I couldn’t take all the circling and movement in the first 30 second. So that is as far as I got.
Will you do more of a review on Buddihex? Maybe tell us how big it is, what all comes with it, when it goes on sale?

@@HamRadioTV that's a real bummer for everyone including them since the parks on the air has taken off search tremendously in the last few years, you know there's all kinds of operators who would love to if this antenna and their arsenal. Including myself!
I talked to a guy name Bud? W3FF, he talked a little about the buddy pole hex beam a little bit, using his tri bike, i was a little disappointed in your video I thought you would talk more about it, and setting it up.
We will have future videos. The Buddihex is still a prototype and will do a more in-depth video once it's finalized for mas production.
