September 8 (Fri) [Maiko Dance] Kamihichiken Bon Odori, you can dance with a maiko in a yukata.

Today, I would like to guide you to Kyoto's "Kamihichiken Bon Odori".
It was held every year during the Obon festival in August, but this year it was held on September 2 to prevent the heat.
Kamishichiken is Kyoto's oldest flower district and is a teahouse town that spreads out on the east approach to Kitano Tenmangu Shrine.
In the Kamishichiken Bon Odori, geiko from Kamishichiken also participate wearing yukatas.
Not only local people but also travelers can jump in and participate.
