Thank you dude! Nice video. Recently I got this head ELF and 1x10 cabinet. Sound great, like you said: its for personal use or monitor. Its works great for me.

It sounds really good! Especially when u used the Spector and the PJ Fender for me are the tones I usually go for.

Nice review. I've got both the 1x10 & 2x8. Most of the time, I use the 1x10. It's DI is really nice so, as you stated, it works well with the FoH as a personal onstage monitor. Its built-in compression is also a plus.

I own one of these and it's a great sounding amp! Some need to know things about it: EQ is active, so 12 o'clock is flat and then you either cut or boost freqs. Gain knob past noon engages the built in compressor (which is a classic trace elliot feature). Lastly, if you want it to distort you need to max out the gain control. You can put out 200w if you hook it up to a 4ohm rig, otherwise it's around 120-130w if you run it at 8ohms.

I was always curious of this set up. Sounds good but just too small for anything I needed besides maybe a home practice rig, and for that id probably just get the Ampeg micro stack

How does it compare in volume to a Phil Jones C2

WOW.. That is a small amp!! Holy cow.. Fits in your tiny hand.. You're about 5'4" so that is small ;) .. How did they do that? Merry Christmas...

I'm getting a very noticeable hum/buzz when I'm plugged in, have the volume up, and have the high/mid around 50%. Anyone come across that?

It's just not Trace Elliot anymore. I wouldn't buy anything of theirs over any other brand, but I would have in the 90s or maybe even early 2000s.

Calling it trace doesn't hide the fact it's a Peavey. All trace products are made in the Peavey factory so u can expect it to function like a Peavey for better or worse. I don't appreciate Peavey pretending to be another company to sneak into me chain.
