I agree with you that Cadillac has come a long way with fit, finish, and details. Yes, As far as the suspension goes they use the Magnetic Ride Contol In this vehicle. In my opinion the overall styling of this vehicle is the best looking SUV in this class/segment. I have a Lexus right now, and will be making a purchase this summer. As of right now the XT5 is at the top of my list. I have owned MB and BMW products in the past, but I feel like both of these companies nickel and dime the customer for every little feature you want. Also MB and BMW no longer have the kind of resale value they once had in the marketplace.
My guy, We bought the X5 over 5 years ago and already sold it. The XT5 and this video are nearly 3 years old already as well. I know you must've felt really cool typing out this back-handed comment, but it's pointless when everything you're trying to roast me on is years in the past. Especially considering the X5 has been sold for nearly a year. Maybe look at the upload date before trying to insult someone next time.
You get a thumbs up for being the only reviewer who highlighted that Cadillac ride. No other car has it and it by itself is worth buying the car for. I have 2017 (bought in 2016) and that ride is still there three years later.
@@shadytires Nothing of any great note. The car still runs and rides like a top. The vehicle gets its regularly scheduled maintenance. The only issue I have is a quirkiness with the CUE system from time to time. From time to time (very infrequently) the CUE system will not come on when you start the car. Others have mentioned this online. I think for me I attribute it to turning the car off without stepping on the brake. The car starts ok but CUE will not come on (until it resets itself). This can take 10-20 minutes. As I mention it occurs very infrequently.
when referring to the fake exhaust that other manufacturers are doing you included BMW. BMW is actually the only one that you mentioned that isn't doing that. all bmw exhausts are real. no fake exhaust points out the back on any model
The XT5 is my 6th Cadillac. My Fave, though it was a Slug, was my Girl Friends 79 Sedan Deville, DeElegance. My first was an even Slower 86 Fleetwood Brougham DeElegance, but it still had a Cadillac Ride, and the Loose Pillow Seats, that were comfortable. The Worst Riding Cadillac I had was an 08 STS, even with the Softest Suspension on it, my Kidneys got Bruised. The XT5 is a bit better, but still quite Harsh, not a Cadillac Ride by a Long Shot. The 20" wheels don't help, the 18s are better, but 15" Wheels would be much better, and would Look much better, unlike the 20 which look Ridiculous with such Thin Sidewalls.
My Caddie EXT used to close it's trunk with a double click of the clicker, that car was made 6 years ago. And yeah, I love that function, but it wasn't new to the XT5. That being said, I have to say the suspension and ride of the XT5 is absolutely even better than the EXT and I loved that ride too. I test drove this car to see if I liked the model and called my husband and said I was in love with the car, no need to buy a new XT5, the 2019 car I drove is perfect. It's gorgeous, smooth, has pep and is really a high quality ride for the value.
I totally love ❤️ the way you explained and what a nice car .. i totally agree 👍
It’s sophisticated piece.. ❤️
Excellent presentation
Thank you! 😁
I have this exact same vehicle, its not just a vehicle, its a driving machine.
My 2016 Terrain back hatch does the same thing, it lifts and retreats, ta da, remotely. Amazing engineering!😳🤔

I agree with you 100%. The Lexus RX and The Caddy XT5 are at the top of my list as well!
I know it's crazy how many x5s are on the market and how cheap some are.
NOT A TRUCK it's a SUV*(SPORTS UTILITY VEHICLE)!
@@henrinevermind1695 Who said it was a truck? You never read that in my post! Not to mention WHO CARES!
I noticed the 2023 model has turn signals on the side mirrors. Wonder why it took XT5 so long to get with the program?
I just bought this exact whip same color.
Your first point. I drive a bmw x6, you have to press the button then it will close, no big deal brother
The best ride goes to my 1985 Cadillac El Dorado.

My 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee has it.
Yes escalade does it
Hell ya. Just bought one and I love it
Congratulations! You made an awesome choice!! 🥳
Literally all of those cars do that now, Land Rover has had it for about 5 years now
i can't tell but does it have a lock glove box?
It does
NOT A TRUNK it's a rear lift gate area/space or a hatch area/space. Sorry for hurting your childlike feelings 🤔💭😠
Wow. Mr. Big Brain in the chat 🧠
@@SaraiGarageobviously bigger than yours. ADOLESCENTLY taking offense to me giving you the correct word.

BMW and others can also close your trunk, you just hold the button on a key. You should prepare yourself better before talking such stupid things ;)
That’s only in Europe. In America BMW and those other brands do not.
Not in America.
You should prepare yourself before trying to talk shit
My enclave trunk closes with remote

dwill123 It really is a cut above everyone else! By far one of the biggest selling points in my eyes! Thank you for the support! 😊
