Thank you so much for this video! I've been struggling to get images and text in the places I want them (with the correct margins too). I used tables at a workaround, but this looks horrible on small devices. Your video was amazing and really easy to follow. 😊
Actually, I covered that in my InstructureCon session this past summer. www.instructure.com/canvas/resources/instructurecon-2022/create-amazing-content-in-canvas It was about 80% in or so.
Hello! Do you have any comments on fair use, and what I'm allowed to use? Do I need to go to a "free" website, or can I use an image in Canvas (for a University Canvas page) and just provide the source? Thank you. EDIT - You mentioned Unsplash... I will use that. thank you!
I would actually refer you to your Campus librarian to determine what the institutional guidelines are. The rules on copyright sometimes are different for educators within a classroom (and Canvas could be considered a classroom since the content is password protected).
I need to up my Canvas game and your resources are just what I needed. Thanks.
Great to hear! I've got some fun stuff over at www.howtocanvas.com/create-amazing-pages-in-canvas

Thank you for you tutorial. Can i make tooltip on canvas image when i click or hover in specifical area or shape in canvas
That's a great idea. I tried it just now and it worked. I put [title="the tooltip"] within the tag
How can you use a jpg as a background and png with links on top of the jpg file (buttons)
hello is there a way you can re size parts of the elements for example like just resize the butter fly wing and keep the body the same
That would have to be done in a photoediting platform such as photoshop and uploaded into Canvas.
Is there a way to set a background image on canvas?

@@HowToCanvas I appreciate that! I've reached out to my librarian, and some of our local copyright folks to try and help me out. Thank you.
