2022 Live Review 8 | AP Computer Science A | Recursion and Recursive Algorithms

In this AP Daily: Live Review session, we will discuss several tips that students may find useful on the free response portion of the exam. We will then practice several of the skills assessed on multiple-choice questions and we will examine a 2D Array free-response question.
We will begin with the Bit of The Day, which will provide tips about the free-response portion of the 2022 exam. Then we will look at a series of multiple-choice questions involving recursion in order to discuss the skill being assessed by each and strategies that can be used to solve them. We will take some time to review the indexing of elements within a 2D array and will then explore the SeatingChart free-response question from the 2014 AP Exam. As we look at SeatingChart, we will review some techniques and uses of 2D array traversals, as well as tips for working with 2D arrays of objects.
