Thank you for the valuable information. It definitely helped me complete my project this weekend. The only thing I did different was digging out the transponder chip. It wouldn't pop out for me. I had to carefully and slowly break the casing to release the transponder chip from the coffin corner. I repeated the steps for the 2nd key and both work fine. Thank you again!
Your hand is in front of the camera the whole time. Try moving the camera. Thanks for the photos of the transponder, that was very helpful, and its location in the key fob. One guy used a hair dryer or heat gun gently to loosen up the glue before prying it out. Worked well. It always bothers me that we don't have laws requiring car dealers to provide cheap replacement remote keys. This should be law. Such a scam!
Thanks for the video. In the case I don't have the original transponder chip from the old key, what's the solution? I'll appreciate it if you answer me please.
DO NOT… I REPEATE: DO NO LISTEN TO THIS DUDE OR THIS VIDEO! The chip does not come out of the case!! My chip got busted because of this man! Additionally, the replacement case you buy online does not work(even though is says it does) and cannot be programmed/chips swapped! Now im being quoted at $400 for a new one!

Thanks, I need to do the same thing this weekend and your method looks easier and way safer than using a utility knife.

Shame the hands block the view of the camera. Thanks for the effort though.
Sorry about a blocked view for some of the video. I hope most can still follow along and perform the same operation to meet their needs.
