I also have been dealing with the no start issue for some time now. I always thought it was the battery and replaced them with cheaper rebuilt batteries. I bit the bullet and replaced the battery with one from Autozone and issue still happened. good Starter, good Alternator, recent Oil change, spark plug swapped out 2 years ago, and it would still struggle to turn on (especially within the last 2 weeks since it's been colder in SoCal). I didn't clean the negative groung cable like your previous video suggest but as a small step I added this ground upgrade since it is easier and takes less effort. I can confirm that the car does not struggle as much as it used to when doing a cold start in the morning. Thanks so much! $15 cable and 45 minutes saved me so much time on troubleshooting.

Very Good. It will help me a lot. Other videos have way to much difficulty from under car. I think was very easy from the top.

Is the original alternator internally regulated or externally regulated?

I'll be upgrading an alternator in the 2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 2.4L. How do you set up the regulator?

This video is for 2014 dart but when I click the link to Amazon for the alternator- it says it is not a match for that car. Does it still work or is this a misfit

The Amazon wrench set you linked doesn't fit

Always go with oem parts for alternator sometimes cars won’t work with aftermarket alternator or they will give you problems. It’s expensive for the oem one but worth it.

Why was the alternator removed? I found a ball bearing under my car and thought perhaps it was a bearing from the alternator.

Oh ps- I have a 2014 dart, sxt, 2.4- and apparently the same alternator for a Chrysler 300 works for our darts. I know they’re not cheap. Better buying used probably if you want to save money but if you want new and don’t want to spend over $300 (o’rielly. Auto zone, ect) look elsewhere like Amazon
