Jordan's nativity literally gave me tears in my eyes. That is so adorable that she made those all year for her mom. Love her little signatures. ❤🌟💚
I use my cast iron daily. Some of it was my mother’s and grandmothers’.. I wash it in hot sudsy water and treat it once a year. It has always been washed and there is no need to change how it has been cleaned for the last 100 years. I don’t use harsh detergent . Often I will wash it with Fels Naphtha bar soap. The same stuff Granny used. It never sticks when cooking.
May I ask what you use to treat it will.
I have one that sticks..
Stainless steel and cast iron pans is all I cook with as its healthier to use as others can produce toxins that's not healthy for us to use!
Once they are seasoned and properly maintained they are sheer joy and can last for generations.
@@pansyparsons8158heat up your oven. Grease up your pan and let it Bakr in the over for about 15 to 20 minutes. I season mine with just oil.
You know that bird basket is broken, right? See 13:52, parts of the wings are broken, looks like, on both sides.
I love cast iron pots and pans. Their care and upkeep is really very easy.

I’m with Noah I use my cast iron pan and it is at least 75 years old I bought at an auction cleaned it up and have used it ever since

I discovered ceramics at about 4th or 5th grade and spent all the money I earned from my paper route and babysitting to make gifts for my family.
I love the pottery tourine. It's actually a good size for 2 people. I wonder if it's glazed inside? Fun haul and I would have grabbed the flowers too. That was a great value. Those were not dollar store floral stems.

Kyle Jenny would be so proud of you, just lean on the Lord. You will grieve for a long time. I haven’t lost my husband but I lost two brothers back to back. It will still hit me out of the Blu that they are gone . Grief comes and goes . I just trust the Lord. My one brother was a minister . Both of my brothers served the Lord. I am so thankful you are taking your sweet children to church. The Holy Spirit is our comforter. God bless you and all you do. Just let yourself grieve . The lord is with you. Danni, I too have a nativity collection. My favorite is the entire Fenton First Addition Nativity. Like your Avon nativity, a few pieces were issued each year. I believe it took 5 years to complete the set.
I also have collected many Nativity sets- family heirlooms- and some from estate sales and thrift stores- love putting them out - they are in every room- all different
How come we don't see more of the good stuff thrift?

I inherited a combination Italy/Japan antique nativity. I buy extra figurines whenever I find them. So, 2 Mary and Joseph, 2 donkeys, 3 sheep, 4 wise men. My camel has a wonky leg. I get so excited when I find one even though they usually look worn. They are over 100 years old so…. 😂

I have several cast iron pans & use them daily. I have the mother of Pearl nativity scene my mom made while pregnant with me 58 years ago.
I also have goebel and Avon sets! Neither set has as many pieces as you have. Please let me know if you plan on selling some 😊
If you lay the bags flat you can store 4 or 5 from about 3 inches. They could also go under the seat. I keep a bunch in the car. They're way sturdier than plastic bags and better for the sea creatures!
