- I took half a day to go explore the #BrisbaneRanges National Park. Its a great place for a short day ride, nothing difficult as all tracks are closed due to it being a #nationalpark. The northern section has some great switch backs going up and down the range.

I watched your vids a lot when you had the WR. Main reason I ended up with one, but like you needed more. Now on a 701 enduro but really liking the 501. I work for a company state side, and we have a plant in Brisbane so intriguing watching vids from the area. What a dual sport playground you guys live in over there.
I rode those EXACT same roads last week coming back from a job in Ballarat. I had the same thoughts too... "what a great road... but f*#k these gates everywhere"!
Yeah it's just a shame, I wonder if it once was a state park.
I so wanted one of those Husky 701s.

G'day Luc, it's a nice little ride out there and a good place for a BBQ. We often do a ride through the steiglitz then down switch road where you whent then to Morrisons creek take a shortcut along the river to dollies creek then to Elaine. Good days ride. Cheers mate.
Thanks Bazz for the tip, will definitely go back. Or like you suggested make it into a longer ride around the other areas too.

Rode here from geelong on my 500 earlier in the year and definitely had mixed feelings about the place. It was very frustrating finding every track I wanted to ride was closed! (even though I did poke my nose down a couple)
But you’re right I found by the end of ride I’d really enjoyed it, it was almost a therapeutic ride haha
