5 or 6 rectangles cut from a sheet of printer paper (A4 or US letter)
alternatively: banknotes in your currency, e.g. U.S. dollars, British pounds, Canadian dollars, Euros
This video show you how to fold a modular origami star from five or six rectangles with an aspect ratio of approximately 2 by 1. It is a traditional design and is a great way to personalize money gifts especially for Christmas. This video includes some background music, but can easily be followed without any audio, as it does not include any verbal instructions.

Thank you Sara. I have made these before but sort of forgot about them in my quest to try and learn new models. These are lovely though and would be pretty as a garland on a tree or just hanging individually. I will make them again!
