🙋🏾♀️ Guilty! I have done small things to help me order less. Don't order 1 or 2 items every other day. Leave in cart or place in 'save for later' until I have a nice number of items. It also gives me at least 24/48 hrs to see if I have to have these items. Many times, I end up deleting some. This has definitely saved me money!

Try waiting a week before you decide. If you're still thinking about the item, buy it. If it hasn't crossed your mind, then let it go.

I cancelled prime and go for the 3-5 day shipping and it almost always gets here in 2 days anyway.

Get rid of Amazon Prime. We did, and it is true you order less "stuff " and truly only order what you need, if you order at all.

Husband is 100% right! I cancelled Prime all the orders placed for 7 days delivery arrive early anyway with free shipping. Yes Amazon can become an addiction because it's so convenient but I found some kitchen products for lower prices at TJ Maxx....
This. Had Amazon prime but money got tight (even with student discount), I cancelled prime. When I order stuff, the delivery still end up being relatively fast. And because of the $25 minimum, I got more conscious on priority buying instead of impulse buying.
But you get Prime video with your membership too

I realized I had a problem a couple months ago when I returned all this stuff. I thought I was going to get about $200-300 back & it ended up being $900 worth of returns...😳 At that moment, I knew I needed to chill.

I very much agree with him. I realised during the first lockdown that I was addicted to buying things weekly on Amazon. For a good 9 months. My partner noticed and mentioned politely a few times that we were getting so many parcels. Of course I disagreed. Then realised, haha. Yep!! I'm addicted!
