I realize this is off-topic; please pray for my son, R***n (18) and my daughter, I**b** (15); they've been kept from me, by their mother, 80+% of their lives. As a result they have little to no respect for me. One of my top priorities in my life is to be in their lives as much as possible for their sake, and mine. You should prepare for the experiment. It must be YOUR active choice to find God. If you don't want to find God -- you won't. The evidence suggests that many never truly desire to find God until they have been traumatized or hit rock-bottom. Fortunately, that is not a requirement, but it partially explains why so many already-broken people are believers. Obviously, there is no punishment for non-belief. I would highly recommend it to anyone to go and read the first chapter of Colossians. It's not talking about Jesus being the Creator. It's talking about the new creation to come because of Jesus. It's talking about the kingdom of God's dear Son, Jesus. The inheritance of the saints. Conveniently, the things that have been created are passed over in the scripture on the screen. There's nothing here talking about the creation story in Genesis. I wonder how many people actually opened the scriptures to look for themselves. NOT GOOD!

My sister used to play your videos and still does, but when i would come to her house before my conversion, she would always have you on. NOW i know why. I do the same for mmy own children. That’s what is so dumb about atheist. They use God and Jesus’ name as a cuss word yet they don’t believe in either one. And they mock them but yet don’t believe in them. Thank you! It went well! We had wonderful encounters, mostly teens who were curious, gave out a Bible to one named Orion, he listened to the gospel and let me pray over him. A group of young middle schools boys listened to the gospel, two Muslim men took tracts and listened to the gospel and asked questions, and I got to use my little speaker and proclaim the gospel for everyone to hear, including a large group of people sitting outside a bar. My husband and youngest daughter were also out with us handing out tracts and i was overwhelmed by the goodness of God. This is my fifth year street preaching and evangelizing and now my littles are getting big enough to come and my husband has always been wonderful at watching them so I can go do this each weekend. The devil has many names and titles. One of them is the accuser of the brethren. You have a lot more patience and eloquence then I do Ray and you always speak the truth in love and I love you for that because you are such an example for the rest of us to be bold and preach the gospel. Excellent point. God lovingly gave us the choice to say ‘NO’ to him instead of forcing us to love him. That’s why in the beginning he allowed everything to play out organically. Unfortunately evil is part of life in this sin fallen state of existence due to free choices made by humans and the power hungry God wanna be fallen angel named Lucifer aka Satan and his demon followers. God allowed them free choice as well. With that all in motion, God set His plan of redemption in motion in Genesis right after Adam and Eve sinned by promising One who would crush the Serpent’s head Genesis 3:15 “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” Jesus Christ is the 2nd Adam who has redeemed us from our sin, death and the devil and has given us eternal life by faith in him. Jesus lived the perfect life on our behalf, died on the cross in our stead and shed his blood for the forgiveness of our sin, and resurrected victoriously for our resurrection and eternal life.

We would immediately die in His presence because of our sins, which is what happened sometimes in the OT when people did not perform the proper purification rituals. The only way for us to be able to stand in the presence of the Father is by Jesus righteousness applied to us

Everything good in this world comes from God, love, light, rest, friendship, etc. The worst part is absolute separation from God. ray comfort preaches a false gospel. he adds repenting of sins to it which will send you to hell for doing so. the gospel is the death burial and resurrection of jesus christ and by placing your faith in that you are saved. your faith must only be in what jesus accomplished on the cross and nothing else.
@@virtuallychaotic3981 Well I believed all these facts when I was a *lost* RC, burdened by guilt, shame and SIN. Believing a bunch of facts saves nobody. Christianity was called "the Way" in the book of Acts (which recounts the years after the resurrection of Jesus). That refers to JESUS (John 14:6) and what Jesus did and said re: how to live. Nobody lives like that in their carnal nature. They must be convicted and then the Holy Spirit will transform them and empower them to live like Jesus. Salvation is a work of the Holy Spirit on the heart but the heart must be softened in order to receive it: that's the point of Matthew 13. And it's the point of Matthew 21:43-44, a much underrated passage. Desperate circumstances, a broken heart and/or conviction of sin are what soften a heart. Repentance IN ITSELF does not save, in the sense that God does not say "oh well done for repenting! I'll save you." But repentance is a natural response to reading the New Testament and nobody can be saved without knowing who Jesus is (Romans 10:9-14). I don't agree with everything Ray does and says but he's right when he says that lost people need to know the "bad news" (they are condemned sinners) before the Good News can have any meaning. It's only good news to someone who knows the bad news. The word "Gospel" means GOOD NEWS. Jesus is the good news. Nobody can read the New Testament for the first time and remain unmoved, indifferent and unconvicted. The Sermon on the Mount is enough to convict people they are living wrongly. Why are those who don't believe "condemned already" (John 3:18)?? Because the wages of sin is spiritual death (Romans 6:23). "And Jesus answering said unto them: "Do you assume that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, no: but, unless you repent, you shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, do you think that they were bigger sinners than those living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no but, unless you repent, you shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3-5)
Welcome to the family!! I’ve been a Christian for a long time but because of Ray I started reading the Bible every day! It’s the best thing I’ve ever done! At first it seemed like a difficult chore to do but I focused on opening the book and reading at least a paragraph. Once I created a habit I began to read more. Whether a paragraph, a chapter or more I encourage everyone to spend time in Gods word every day. 😊

Patience is part of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-24). If someone has the Holy Spirit indwelling (i.e is a Christian: Romans 8:9) then they have a new nature (2 Corinthians 5:17) and supernatural patience, joy, love, peace etc. All the time. Jesus transforms our hearts [if we allow him] so that we become a new "tree", rooted in him, and producing fruit "naturally" according to our new nature. "Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit" (Matthew 12:33)

I cannot help but notice that it's usually the college aged kids who are often softer and more receptive to the gospel. There's also parents with young families who are also receptive to Ray. It's when you get to see the videos with people who at or near retirement age who seem harder for Ray to reach.

Are you referring to the Big Bang cosmological model? That model was first formulated by a Christian physicist. It does not describe the very beginning of the observable universe, and only describes what occurred after. It's based largely on Einstein's theory of relativity and a heck of a lot of mathematics, plus direct observations of the universe, which led to the discovery of the cosmic microwave background, and also led to discovering that the universe is expanding, an expansion that began with the big bang.. that's what the big bang was, an expansion of SpaceTime that is ongoing today. It wasn't an explosion, like a bomb detonating with a bunch of matter flying out from a central point. All relevant data and evidence demonstrates that our universe once existed in a hot, dense state, then began expanding. That's pretty much it. That's pretty much the basics of the Big Bang model. Has nothing to do with the very *beginning* of the universe. Many people think a god caused the Big Bang. Back in the day, when the model was first proposed, a lot of the atheists were opposed to it because it implies that the Universe had a beginning. Most scientists were opposed to it as well, because even though it worked in the math, they didn't believe it was actually real, until further evidence started accumulating over the years. It's a scientific model, which means it's based on data and evidence scientists must follow data and evidence wherever it leads. Oh, and FYI, the Big Bang has nothing to do with life and biological evolution.

Since relocating to a rural area a few years ago, I've contracted a subcutaneous fungal skin infection which causes my lower legs and feet to burn hot whenever I lay down to rest. As a Christian myself I always struggle with the “All knowing” part as well. I always wonder why God would allow all this to happen knowing what would be the outcome… its really hard for me at times to actually love God fully because of that

The Greek word used for repent is "Metanoia" which means to change your mind, not stop sinning as some preach. Change your mind about placing your FAITH in Jesus Christ ALONE for salvation & becoming sealed with The Holy Spirit. Repenting of sins is profitable to yourself, your fellow man & pleases the Lord but cannot save you. Hope this helps.

I’ve watched a lot of Ray’s videos. His conclusions always lead to the fact that salvation only comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Can someone please explain how this is false gospel?
They are trying to say that since he teaches repentance of sins that it is works based salvation. They are claiming that salvation needs faith but not repentance. Basically it's a self defeating false belief system. If repentance (which God grants) is works then so is the faith (which God brings us to) necessary for salvation in their paradigm. Instead what they are doing is saying you don't need to turn from sin (be repentant / sorry for your sins) but simply believe in Jesus. However book of James disputes this in stating that "even the demons believe". We need to come to a place of repentance to be born again. It doesn't mean we never sin since then, just that our desires change upon being born again.
It’s not a false gospel. Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for sin for all of humanity. It is by faith that everyone has the opportunity to believe or not believe. There are consequences for denying this gift of God. Out of all the religions in the world, Jesus is the only one who got up out of the grave. Theologically speaking, many have confused sanctification with justification. Justification is by faith thru grace alone. Upon being born again, all believers immediately step into sanctification, the point at which God is effectively consecrating believers, setting us apart from the rest of the world. Sanctification produces work that bears witness to the redemptive work of Jesus Christ - that work is not what saves. However, it’s impossible to do nothing when God is sanctifying us. The problem we have today is many believers are conflating justification with sanctification. Jesus said, “why do you call me Lord when you don’t do what I command?” Sanctification produces in us a compulsion to follow Him in all things, and it’s the Holy Spirit who empowers us to do so in order that none can boast. All this being said, I think we have to be careful with calling fellow believers false teachers, as all wolves in sheep’s clothing are spoken of as condemned already all throughout the Word…that’s a high charge to bring against a fellow believer and is absent of love when we’re not judging righteously.
I had to leave a church last year, where the Pastor openly condemned the need to show people that they are fallen, sinful people. His reason: People need to be built-up, not torn down. 100% wrong. People think they’re doing pretty good on their own.
It's false or rather semi-false in the sense that when Ray presents the law to the lost. For the law was given unto those who were under the law, but now the righteousness of God is presented unto the world without the law. The chief cornerstone, Jesus; following His ways. The law is not needed as a prerequisite to knowing Jesus!

Thank you! It went well! We had wonderful encounters, mostly teens who were curious, gave out a Bible to one named Orion, he listened to the gospel and let me pray over him. A group of young middle schools boys listened to the gospel, two Muslim men took tracts and listened to the gospel and asked questions, and I got to use my little speaker and proclaim the gospel for everyone to hear, including a large group of people sitting outside a bar. My husband and youngest daughter were also out with us handing out tracts and i was overwhelmed by the goodness of God. This is my fifth year street preaching and evangelizing and now my littles are getting big enough to come and my husband has always been wonderful at watching them so I can go do this each weekend. Thanks for praying, pray for Orien. Love you all brothers and sisters!

Excellent point. God lovingly gave us the choice to say ‘NO’ to him instead of forcing us to love him. That’s why in the beginning he allowed everything to play out organically. God allowed them free choice as well. With that all in motion, God set His plan of redemption in motion in Genesis right after Adam and Eve sinned by promising One who would crush the Serpent’s head Genesis 3:15 “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” Jesus Christ is the 2nd Adam who has redeemed us from our sin, death and the devil and has given us eternal life by faith in him. Jesus lived the perfect life on our behalf, died on the cross in our stead and shed his blood for the forgiveness of our sin, and resurrected victoriously for our resurrection and eternal life.

ray comfort preaches a false gospel. he adds repenting of sins to it which will send you to hell for doing so. the gospel is the death burial and resurrection of jesus christ and by placing your faith in that you are saved. your faith must only be in what jesus accomplished on the cross and nothing else.

Christianity was called "the Way" in the book of Acts (which recounts the years after the resurrection of Jesus).
That refers to JESUS (John 14:6) and what Jesus did and said re: how to live.
Nobody lives like that in their carnal nature. They must be convicted and then the Holy Spirit will transform them and empower them to live like Jesus.
Salvation is a work of the Holy Spirit on the heart but the heart must be softened in order to receive it: that's the point of Matthew 13.
And it's the point of Matthew 21:43-44, a much underrated passage.
Desperate circumstances, a broken heart and/or conviction of sin are what soften a heart.
Repentance IN ITSELF does not save, in the sense that God does not say "oh well done for repenting! I'll save you."
But repentance is a natural response to reading the New Testament and nobody can be saved without knowing who Jesus is (Romans 10:9-14).
I don't agree with everything Ray does and says but he's right when he says that lost people need to know the "bad news" (they are condemned sinners) before the Good News can have any meaning.

I’ve been a Christian for a long time but because of Ray I started reading the Bible every day! It’s the best thing I’ve ever done! At first it seemed like a difficult chore to do but I focused on opening the book and reading at least a paragraph. Once I created a habit I began to read more. Whether a paragraph, a chapter or more I encourage everyone to spend time in Gods word every day. 😊

Patience is part of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-24).
If someone has the Holy Spirit indwelling (i.e is a Christian: Romans 8:9) then they have a new nature (2 Corinthians 5:17) and supernatural patience, joy, love, peace etc.

Tough crowd today. When people are entrenched on their godless ways, it’s much tougher to “right the ship”. But they’ve heard. That’s all God expects of us.
I cannot help but notice that it's usually the college aged kids who are often softer and more receptive to the gospel.
There's also parents with young families who are also receptive to Ray.
It's when you get to see the videos with people who at or near retirement age who seem harder for Ray to reach.

Jesus died because SIN had to be dealt with. It was dealt with on the Cross. He died so we don't have to. Those who don't believe die spiritually and then physically while "still in their sins" (John 8:24, Romans 6:23).
Those who repent and believe are forgiven, washed clean and reconciled to God through Him (Romans 5:1).
We are then made NEW in Him and, with the Holy Spirit indwelling (John 14:16-17) - without whom we are not His (Romans 8:1-9 KJV) - are able to "follow in His steps" (1 Peter 2:21, 1 John 2:6), becoming "partakers of the divine nature" (2 Peter 1:3-4, John 14:12).

A BANG FROM NOTHING CANNOT PRODUCE LIFE! HOW COULD THE BANG EXIST?
Are you referring to the Big Bang cosmological model?
That model was first formulated by a Christian physicist. It does not describe the very beginning of the observable universe, and only describes what occurred after.
It's based largely on Einstein's theory of relativity and a heck of a lot of mathematics, plus direct observations of the universe, which led to the discovery of the cosmic microwave background, and also led to discovering that the universe is expanding, an expansion that began with the big bang.. that's what the big bang was, an expansion of SpaceTime that is ongoing today. It wasn't an explosion, like a bomb detonating with a bunch of matter flying out from a central point.
All relevant data and evidence demonstrates that our universe once existed in a hot, dense state, then began expanding. That's pretty much it. That's pretty much the basics of the Big Bang model. Has nothing to do with the very *beginning* of the universe.
Many people think a god caused the Big Bang. Back in the day, when the model was first proposed, a lot of the atheists were opposed to it because it implies that the Universe had a beginning. Most scientists were opposed to it as well, because even though it worked in the math, they didn't believe it was actually real, until further evidence started accumulating over the years.
It's a scientific model, which means it's based on data and evidence scientists must follow data and evidence wherever it leads.
Oh, and FYI, the Big Bang has nothing to do with life and biological evolution.

The Greek word used for repent is "Metanoia" which means to change your mind, not stop sinning as some preach. Change your mind about placing your FAITH in Jesus Christ ALONE for salvation & becoming sealed with The Holy Spirit. Repenting of sins is profitable to yourself, your fellow man & pleases the Lord but cannot save you. Hope this helps.

I do not say that the actions/works by itself is repentence but the results of repentence. If I trully have changed my mind about smoking for example it will show in my actions sooner or later.

I’ve watched a lot of Ray’s videos. His conclusions always lead to the fact that salvation only comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Can someone please explain how this is false gospel?
They are trying to say that since he teaches repentance of sins that it is works based salvation. They are claiming that salvation needs faith but not repentance. Basically it's a self defeating false belief system. If repentance (which God grants) is works then so is the faith (which God brings us to) necessary for salvation in their paradigm. Instead what they are doing is saying you don't need to turn from sin (be repentant / sorry for your sins) but simply believe in Jesus. However book of James disputes this in stating that "even the demons believe". We need to come to a place of repentance to be born again. It doesn't mean we never sin since then, just that our desires change upon being born again.
It’s not a false gospel. Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for sin for all of humanity. It is by faith that everyone has the opportunity to believe or not believe. There are consequences for denying this gift of God. Out of all the religions in the world, Jesus is the only one who got up out of the grave. People don’t like to accept truth, because it interferes with their lifestyles. I hope you find Christ. He’s coming soon. If you read the Bible and ask God to reveal His truth, you will see everything happening around the world today was prophesied thousands of years ago.
Theologically speaking, many have confused sanctification with justification. Justification is by faith thru grace alone. Upon being born again, all believers immediately step into sanctification, the point at which God is effectively consecrating believers, setting us apart from the rest of the world. Sanctification produces work that bears witness to the redemptive work of Jesus Christ - that work is not what saves. However, it’s impossible to do nothing when God is sanctifying us. The problem we have today is many believers are conflating justification with sanctification. Jesus said, “why do you call me Lord when you don’t do what I command?” Sanctification produces in us a compulsion to follow Him in all things, and it’s the Holy Spirit who empowers us to do so in order that none can boast. All this being said, I think we have to be careful with calling fellow believers false teachers, as all wolves in sheep’s clothing are spoken of as condemned already all throughout the Word…that’s a high charge to bring against a fellow believer and is absent of love when we’re not judging righteously.
I had to leave a church last year, where the Pastor openly condemned the need to show people that they are fallen, sinful people. His reason: People need to be built-up, not torn down. 100% wrong. People think they’re doing pretty good on their own.
It's false or rather semi-false in the sense that when Ray presents the law to the lost. For the law was given unto those who were under the law, but now the righteousness of God is presented unto the world without the law. The chief cornerstone, Jesus; following His ways. The law is not needed as a prerequisite to knowing Jesus!

I once had a discussion with a professor at Harvard who said to me the universe was created by chance. I pushed him a little bit on this, used a coin to illustrate the problem. I said, “If I have a fifty-cent piece and flip it up in the air, what are the chances that it comes up heads?” He says, “50/50.” I said, “OK, how much influence does chance exert on the flip of the coin?” He said, “What do you mean?” I said: “Well, the way it comes up heads or tails is determined by how much pressure is exerted on it, what the density of the atmosphere is, how many revolutions it takes, and so on, whether you catch it here, or here, or here, and whether after you catch it you turn it over or don’t turn it over. Those are all the variables. How much influence does chance have?”
He still didn’t get it. I said: “Well, look. If you’re using the term chance to talk about mathematical possibilities, it’s a perfectly useful term. But when we ascribe to chance a power to do something, we are saying the chance is something. Now, what is it? What is this mysterious X factor that causes the coin to come up tails or heads?” He still looked at me, and I said, “Wait a minute.”
I said, “Chance cannot do anything because chance is not anything.” For something to act, it must first what? Be. Chance is not a thing; it’s no thing; it’s nothing. When you say to me that the universe was created by chance, you are saying the same thing as saying the universe was created by nothing, and you’ve taken a perfectly good word to describe mathematical possibilities and now informed it with magical power. Giving it ontological status, giving it power to do something when it is not anything, and that is the principal idea that is used as a substitute for creation.
Now, I know there are some who argue that the universe is eternal and always has been here. That’s another question, but the vast majority of critics today who deny the creation of this world by a self-existent, eternal God appeal to some kind of beginning to all of reality that comes from nothing.
