I actually think the ads give the game charm to stick out, there’s been many games that portray their trailers as serious; it’s a nice misdirection to at least show humor with seriousness. The artstyle clearly shows it

@@NONO-oy1cu Same. But after t4 your gonna wait 100+ days to get to the last level of combined arms, encampment, medical corps (per research) So roughly about 300+ to get level 9 to 10. And 1-8 will cost way more time. So yeah this will take years and years to get everything done. It sucks.

I think what's even nicer is, despite how pay to win the game is, like most mobile strategy games...
This one actually gives you neat little history lesson of each of the historic commanders and their skill loadouts are influenced by the martial prowess they were renowned for.
I always like when games inspired by history do things like that.

So this is were our money goes to. No new useful features like implementing sea* with battleships* (all great empires had a great fleet) No new mechanics to make strategy* step above *paytowin players (all RTS games are focus on hability and strategy not on money). This game is not strategy, its a money-loop, were the real strategy is on the sales department.

Dang, I wish I could play this like I used to. The only problem is if you are away for two days you are screwed if it is a new server, which you normally always start in or you will be behind anyway.
