As someone who doesn't even have the Singularity, I played a total of 1 game against him and had an EMP for every single second of the match
I honestly think the EMPs and the current mechanics are fine, my only issue is how EMPs are always readily available whenever you need them. Maybe they can make it so that as long as a printer's EMP exists in a survivor's hand, it wont automatically print another one
100% agree. One thing I would like to see is when you ho to a pod if a survivor is near it (in range and seen to target) you should enter looking at them rather then the jarring spin to locate after looking the wrong way.
I understand where you're coming from with this. Played him for a few days and now I don't entirely feel like playing him anymore. He is a super fun killer with a great design and concept AND an awesome power that's fun to use. However, in almost all of my games I feel super slow and, like with you, the EMPs were kicking my ass. I also feel like the hit boxes for slipstreaming survivors should be tweaked a bit. I can't tell you how many times I was unable to hit someone with my biopod when half their body is sticking out. The smallest pieces of cover have been blocking it off and it's super annoying to deal with. Great video and great points. Hopefully we see changes before or by the time the anniversary event starts.
As a Singularity main, ive kinda learned how to work around EMPs. Like, if a survivor EMPs themselves ill place another pod and reinfect them, and teleport to start of a chase.
I think survivors should have to print them just like wesker and nemisis boxes. You have to print from start. They do not print on their own. That would make it somewhat better. I do agree the EMPs are surprisingly way stronger than I thought. I do agree with the hook slipstream too
The real jumpscare of this game is getting whacked by 72 EMPs whenever you switch to camera mode.
I would agree but this killer closes gaps and gains a huge haste bonus which is very strong however they could nerf it to have 3 printers and survivors only apply 2.5x speed to printing
Something I learned is Franklin's demise dose not affect the emps at all they are not concerned a item so your can't just knock it out
I played the singularity in the ptb and in the public servers I 100% agree that EMP's are too powerful, I feel one nerf would be if multiple biopods are emp'd then the reboot should be shorter depending on how many are emp'd with 4 being 4x recovery and so on
This is true... when another play is in chase and gets the thing attached to them (idk the name) I just get an EMP and go near them to get it off of them 😅
completely agree. its mainly the fact that you can make INFINITE emps with 0 penalty. they don't feel like a saving grace and more a tool you can get at anytime during a chase to completely negate the killers power. they should provide a downside to using emps, nerf the spawn timer for emp spawning exponentially, and nerf the survivor in a way when using an emp during chase i.e hindered.

I also hate the fact you can eliminate so many camera’s and multiple survivor cores with one emp- like why?
Don’t know why killers like dredge and singularity need built in counters. If you don’t want a killer to use their power why have a power in the first place.
I guess that's fair, but for a killer like singularity he definitely needs some form of counterplay, considering how fast he can set up his pods.
some people will say that this video is just some random dude crying bcs he cen't play good
and some people (like I do) will say that IMP are to strong if you play vs SWF you can't use your power if you play vs all random survivors that can codyne it's really hard to use your power
for example: survivor do generator have IMP you see him for the "camera" you shot him he use IMP and have chest near this generator have another IMP and after he teke IMP and in 19 sec. he will have another IMP and if he want he can sped it up
IMP are too overpowerd right now. If some players can see it that is not good

Bro I thought the exact same thing when I first played against him he should be able to close the printers
Be interesting if he could kick the printers like a gen and that would set them regressing instead of building up charge until a survivor interacted with them.

Absolutely agree. I decided to come back to dbd as my interest in it had spiked again and thought the killer was cool. I always have fun with him and even so, with a decent team the EMPs are crazy powerful. I know they'll mess with it. Maybe limit how many emps can be spawned to two?
two?? no. they said 4, thats fair. it should be like wesker and nemesis.
@@arwen08 however the items used for nemesis and wesker's counter only effects the person who used it, not everyone in the vicinity and it doesn't limit the killer's power.
@@Xarxes_ then if thats the problem, revert the time and amount changes and make it so it only works on either one biopod, a teammate or yourself.

i don't think they should be infinite they are stupid, they clear everyone with just one, that's is out of 5. i got rolled almost every time i played and that's not cause im a bad player, its just not possible against people on coms

Your point is valid, but with the massive ass nerfs survivors have been getting, i disagree. Because of the recent updates, the game is killer sided
But Buffing the singularity doesn’t make the nurse or blight any worse

Survivors with hope and mft move faster than any 4.4 killer... And can crank all 5 gens in 3 to 4 minutes....and you think it's killer sided? Do some research please.
@TheBotler No need for the aggression sir, and killers have a 65% kill rate compared to survivors
@@KaizenGacha Kill percentages don't matter. They are skewed due to players giving up, or killing themselves on hook. I would like a few examples of why you think otherwise.

survivors should only be limited to a max of 2 emps per game - per person. so 8 overall* thats plenty. just make the cooldown for the singularity like 20 sec longer overall and problem solved.

Yea we can use emps to knock out your stuff but at the same time during chase we can only use it once and the thing breaks on us to which if you were smart you would've set up traps along the entire map to where if we go to another loop hey look there's another one and we don't have an emp to deal with it. Also ya shouldn't really be complaining since Singularity reach is insanely stupid as I've been clear a window got a step in and been grabbed when I was completely on the otherside and that wasn't lag I confirmed that with killer at the end of the game. Your reach is insanely stupid.

And? In alot of times you don’t have time to do in chase. He also slows hardcore when coming back from the pod. And then having to relocate. (Try playing 10 games in The Game map) xD
