I noticed when I rolled the bottom printed circuit boards up with the strips on them to tape to the screen that the strip partially came loose during reassembly. Does this mean the TV is junk. I proceeded to replace the LEDs and had a hard time getting the small wire clips free at the strip ends. Any suggestions before I scrap this.

Soooooo....after putting it back together, the display works fine. But the LEDs are too bright and show through the black screen on standby. Also after an image is shown and goes to standby, a burn of the image stays until the next image is displayed. I suspect that I didn't put the screens back on correctly. Question: symptom is a dim blue screen. No sound. LEDs are working. When I disconnect one side of the T-con board the screen is 1/2 black and 1/2 bright white. Suggestions?
luck what I discovered: My fire stick 4k (3 year old) was the item that was causing the screen problem. I noticed that after I connected my brand new fire stick 4K Max, after a minute the screen get very bad with different pixel lines..... I was using Netflix.... then I opened Netflix on the tv app and it was working all normal. also I used the cable box and all was running good. Also I plug this fire stick to a older SONY tv and the device working all normal.
I speak with LG about this problem... and then could't help me. No even to give a discount to buy a new tv. Now I have to throw away my tv and buy a new one. SO I end with LG.
NO MORE LG FOR ME.

@@r.c.850 Try going to the firmware or software update screen on your new amazon 4k firestick! Update their software, they have frequent updates.
If that does fix it then make sure the firestick is set to the correct display resolution ie 4k. If that is not set correctly you can have all kinds of issues, at least mine did. Good luck
How much will it cost if I take my TV for service to fix it
lol, only a few minues into the video, but had to comment to say I love the rimshot
I need you help me please. I live in chicago and I have a Mitsubishi dlp wd73740 and I need fix it. solarized picture. Please help me
Soooooo....after putting it back together, the display works fine. But the LEDs are too bright and show through the black screen on standby. Also after an image is shown and goes to standby, a burn of the image stays until the next image is displayed. I suspect that I didn't put the screens back on correctly. I left the thicker one at the bottom but the screen on top has a rainbowlike look when light shines on it (shouldn't have worked ahead, lesson learned). Would you happen to be able to confirm the correct way they should be on there?
Also all of the lenses are intact.
