Anyone else feel like some of these rankings are just.....weird? Like according to the voters a shark fin is way scarier than multiple realistic animatronics.
Not necessarily. Sometimes the less I see frightens me more because the things my imagination can conjure are far worse than anything that could be based in reality. That's how I voted, anyway. It's all about perspective and what hits a certain person's fear button.
Honestly, seeing Daisy being ranked so low on the list feels absolutely dumb. How is a fin swimming in a small circle, scarier than a life-sized, heavily realistic, animatronic shark??? Daisy should've been ranked on up imo. That is more terrifying to see in the water than some fin.
In my opinion, Daisy the Shark should be in the top tier. That is one fluid smooth moving animatronic shark that's closely on par with Bruce from Jaws.
IDC if it's goofy looking or realistic, if it's underwater and if it's a shark, Imma cry and possibly drown from dying from fright. Like these all scared me.
The Sydney aquarium shark really scares me for some reason. The scars on its face, the eye movement, the lighting and screens showing shark videos.... Scary man
Everyone is allowed to be afraid of something. Did it make you feel big and bad to rag on someone on the internet? Did it make you feel better about your own sad life and your own fears?
This ranked list is wild. I have so many questions. How did the jaws ride shark get placed over the actual jaws shark??? Why was the scariest sharks at the bottom of the list? If they aren't animatronic in water, why does it get on the list? Great video, just think the rankings were silly
I love the variety here! Covering all sorts of angles from the legendary Jaws, to the frighting Rosie, to Mythbusters and to other various sharks! They are all amazing awesome feats of engineering, creativity, inspiration and nightmare fuel!🤩🦈
How the hell did Sharkzilla get a higher rank than ROBOSHARK!?! I remember watching them build it during the episode and I was scared and fascinated by it. I genuinely don’t think people understood the task here.
As someone who is trying to get over submechanophobia, I find the less realistic ones scarier because you can tell its an animatronic. I don't know why that makes it scarier for me, but it does.
Yeees! The first time I went on Jaws the Ride, I cried when the shark got really close to the shit. Granted, I was like... six, but I still have a pretty decent fear of sharks. LOL
I didnt realize a fear of sharks in a pool was a thing until now. When i was a kid (and even still now at 26) I had this fear of the shark from the jaws ride being in my pool because it was an animatronic and didnt need sea water like I was always afraid the wall of the pool would open up and it would jump out at me or the floor of the pool UGH the thought even now gives me the creeps I still wont swim in a pool alone.
Time to face my fears....already feeling uncomfortable lol Turns out that the ones in the shut down ride in the top tier, made me more freaked out than the others... I've had shark phobia for a few years...I've had nightmares of them before :C
Alright Liz and Sauco (and Will), I think to celebrate the next milestone on this channel you all should organize a meetup where we all group dive to firsthand see and feel the abandoned shark in Switzerland. Whoever is able to touch/find/pose with the dragon gets bragging points and the title of King/Queen Duck and their dinner/drinks paid for. C'MON GUYS. I can't be the only one addicted to being otherworldly terrified! 😂 Because this totally doesn't sound like a premise for a horror movie or anything now that I'm typing it out....😬
Funny thing, I actually got to see the real Robo shark the discovery science center is actually hosting a myth busters exhibit and they had the Robo shark on display I got to touch it actually was really cool
It's make me so happy to see the Shark from the Downtown Aquarium make an appearance in your submechanaphobia videos. This shark scared me as a kid, and is probably the reason why I have a slight fear of sharks.
4:08 dang, I didn’t expect the place I’ve been when I was a little kid being included to this list (And probably the thing that has triggered my thalassophobia)
Lake nuchatel is #1 for me but good video. I want more games and movies to take advantage of that cause it's horrifying, subnautica kinda does but not the full extent. like the lake does, it's the faint shape in the distance that makes me panic like in deep blue sea or soma. The shark just straight up looks creepy same for the dragon down there to. I'd see the faintest figure and dip XD
Glad the shark I voted for got second place, but Jaws the ride really deserves first. It’s a really cool ride and I would be terrified if I got to visit it. Good job on the video! :)
As a citizen of canton Neuchâtel, I must admit I've only learned about the monster shark statue fairly recently. I am glad it's featured here, another reason to like my region. But please remember it's not pronounced NuKatel, the ch is soft like in "shore" and the name means "new castle".
To say im disappointed is an understatement. I may not be that old but when I first saw the movie Jaws, that was a pivotal point in my life that actually got me into animatronics and sharks. sure the other movies in the Jaws films were like below what the original was, but I feel like they should be voted on as singular entities and not as a whole franchise. Bruce the shark the original animatronics deserve their recognition and I just feel like this vote wasn't fair to that
Daisy gives off such uncanny valley feelings for me, it actually made me shudder. The realistic movements in the water while knowing it’s fake just has my skin CRAWLING. And geez the animatronics used for Deep Blue are the worst for me… half-submerged, massive and realistic…
honestly next time shows us better pictures the ones on the lower parts of the list wouldve been higher if we couldve seen more of it or like got a link to a video of it
I love Bruce the shark animatronic from Jaws. He was named after Steven Spielberg’s lawyer, Bruce Raiman. (That’s also how the shark in Finding Nemo got his name)
the shark head with the machine body showing in the clear water would only be creepy at night. personally seeing the machinery totally takes away from the fear factor
10:20 fun fact Sharkzilla actually was made because of a prehistoric fossil record of a whale that got decapitated by a megalodon. They built sharkzilla and a mock-up whale to test the possibility of a megalodon causing that damage to a whale and removing such a head. The shark animatronic ending up providing paleontologists the evidence needed and now sharkzilla has became a celebrity since when people now feed the shark for many years to come. For me it gets 🦈🦈🦈🦈
Fun fact my dad told me that jaws is the reason most people are afraid of sharks also I'm glad Rosey was found by the right people as I can imagine her soul finally going to heaven
As someone who grew up in Florida, I have memories of the jaws ride as a small child. That ride used to scare me so badly 😂 I also vaguely remember the flames from the barrels and whatever else was on fire being so hot even though they were at a safe distance :)
I like how if I was swimming and saw any of them even if I know their animatronics I’ll literally get a heart attack even fish scare me to death in the ocean
You need to get new voters, as you said they put the underrated highly effortly made animatronic on 2 stars. ALSO DAISY WAS HORRIFYING IM A SHARK LOVER BUT SEEING HER IN WATER IS A NO NO FOR ME WHY 1 star?
when i was 5 or 6 years old i lived in california for one year and i've only ever been to universal once and it was when i lived there. my parents made me go on the jaws ride and scared me into looking when the shark jumped up. well the whole time i thought it was real and when i got older i had always thought it had been a nightmare i had, but my mom told me it did really happen except it was a ride not a nightmare. now i have a very bad phobia of great white sharks and i could never go on a ride with one. im still scared even though i am 25 years old.
#JusticeForRoboshark drop a 🦈 if you agree!
#JusticeForRoboshark 🦈 also how is that a mechanical shark at 21:11 it’s a statue
I can't put a shark because of my mobile device put I do agree

#JusticeForRoboshark I love sharks so much I grew up with the jaws ride I’m sad that it closed
Anyone else feel like some of these rankings are just.....weird? Like according to the voters a shark fin is way scarier than multiple realistic animatronics.
Ikr! Haha 😂
Lol
Not necessarily. Sometimes the less I see frightens me more because the things my imagination can conjure are far worse than anything that could be based in reality. That's how I voted, anyway. It's all about perspective and what hits a certain person's fear button.
Yes! Glad someone else said it. I thought a lot of these rankings were nonsense.
Some people just find it scarier when you can’t see the monster
Honestly, seeing Daisy being ranked so low on the list feels absolutely dumb. How is a fin swimming in a small circle, scarier than a life-sized, heavily realistic, animatronic shark??? Daisy should've been ranked on up imo. That is more terrifying to see in the water than some fin.
It’s in the top tier rank….. wym?
@@drummergurl99 no it isn't?
Maybe because real sharks aren’t monsters nor are they scary. Thoughts of mechanisms in water is scarier than an animal.
@@RedDog57Stabbing teeth? 14,000 pound bite force? Hell no.
@@CJohnson234 Yikes. I can’t imagine being scared or demonizing an animal for the way they are. You should be afraid of dogs too with your logic.
In my opinion, Daisy the Shark should be in the top tier. That is one fluid smooth moving animatronic shark that's closely on par with Bruce from Jaws.
It’s past Bruce, yes Bruce was scary for the time but the quality of animatronics have gotten so much better over time. Daisy is scarier.
What I learned from today's video:
Ducksquad should never vote on anything again.
Seriously, what were ya'll thinking?
😂😂😂
real
So glad Rosie is getting her justice finally! It's so sad!
Same. This was my first time learning about Rosie and it was a real gut punch. 😞
I agree, It's the first time I heard about Rosie too and It's sad that they just left her.
@@thnxolotl4546 especially after taking such care to preserve her! That's horrible. :(
I heard about her once before. Can't remember when.
Who’s Rosie
The Daisy shark in the bottom tier?
Who are these people that placed it?
It was awesomely realistic…
IDC if it's goofy looking or realistic, if it's underwater and if it's a shark, Imma cry and possibly drown from dying from fright. Like these all scared me.
I genuinely think voters thought it was a countdown from five sharks to one...
Ngl this list was, politely speaking, awful. I would swithc the entire order upside down for it to make sense
Daisy is so terrifying. It's far too real
Daisy looks like she's smiling and waving hello with her fin, I love her so much, she's friggin adorable 🥺
I don’t understand how the two shark heads made it to tier 2 but Daisy and robo shark didn’t….
The Sydney aquarium shark really scares me for some reason. The scars on its face, the eye movement, the lighting and screens showing shark videos.... Scary man
Grow up 😂😂😂 wdym a normal shark is scary ?
Everyone is allowed to be afraid of something. Did it make you feel big and bad to rag on someone on the internet? Did it make you feel better about your own sad life and your own fears?

I genuinely don’t think people understood the task here.
Agreed! #JusticeforRoboshark
Funny how they put sharkzilla in this video considering they NEVER PUT IT IN THE WATER
Daisy is very very realistic. But she's also kinda... Cute? She just has this cute little face after her mouth closes.
She smiling like 🙂
She does! Great Whites kinda have that kind of face sometimes.
8:05 “this shark is not an animatronic”
My heart rate:ITS OVER 9000!
awww, Rosie. glad she's got a forever home.
Good that Rosie was saved from total deterioration. How dare anyone abandon a creature that experienced so much injustice.
Breaks my heart.
I feel like childhood trauma has a lot of influence over this list! Not that that’s a bad thing
Everybody knows that the scariest part about all these is falling into the water with it😅
The third one was way too realistic! So scary, i wouldn't go near or touch any of them!
I'm sorry I didn't do the shark votes, but I just find all sharks really scary to me.
Literally every single one made me want to remove my skin. Horrible.
As someone who is trying to get over submechanophobia, I find the less realistic ones scarier because you can tell its an animatronic. I don't know why that makes it scarier for me, but it does.

The fact the shark animatronic in The Last Shark wasn't ranked 4 or 5 sharks is criminal
Funny thing, I actually got to see the real Robo shark the discovery science center is actually hosting a myth busters exhibit and they had the Robo shark on display I got to touch it actually was really cool

what was the duck squad thinking when they ranking the sharks? 🤦♀️
I seen the animated life size zombie shark halloween horror prop in the video clip🧟♂️🦈🧟🦈
