    Thanks for the video. However, for the floating installation wouldn't it have been a WHOLE LOT EASIER and faster to flip the tiles upside down, apply the tape and then just flip it back upright? Just sayin'

      Nope. Try it... it is not at all easier. You need the tiles to move as little as possible. The stuff slips and is a royal pain in the ass.

      I'm imagining the entire floor of carpet tiles being flipped upside down and then flipped back upright 😮😮

    Can you install with tape over floor insulation?

      By “floor insulation” are you meaning rolled carpet pad? And are you wanting to install carpet tiles over top or something else?

      @@jamin309it’s best to remove it then clean floor as best you can before using tape

    have you tried just using duck tape? Or what about painters tape, typically the yellow roll not the blue?

      No ducks were harmed when making duct tape 😁.
