Hi Tysheen, the colour of the Thames water is not because it is dirty, but the sediment silt on the riverbed. The traffic on the Thames stirs up the silt and gives the water that brown colour.
The tide stirs up the silt as it's a tidal river.
No, actually, thanks to the tories liberalization of water quality control, most rivers in england are very polluted and teeming with nocive bacteria. Literally england's rivers are full of crap.
@@carlossaraiva8213 No, it has nothing to do with pollution, it's because it's a tidal river with a muddy basin so it gets moved about a lot. The Thames is ironically a very clean river.
I give you that this was maybe true before the UK has decided to overflow their faeces - urgh - into rivers and the sea 😩🤷🏻

In Europe a bathroom is a room with a bath, not to be confused with a toilet.
Europe is a toilet
I've a couple of friends who, completely mystified, ushered their American guests into a bathroom...which didn't have a loo inside... wondering if being suddenly suddenly struck with the urge to bathe was an American thing?
Oh and hey - the brown water-thing? It's exactly the same across Africa, Australia, India, Papua New Guinea. The source is always high in the hill and is translucent, but as the rivers course takes them down from their rocky beginnings down through vast flood plains, or in monsoon rains etc the same effect happens.
@@cireenasimcox1081 I'd love to do that, but both of my bathrooms have toilets.
Poop in bathroom is frowned upon in ye olde country.
@@villainousreport9600 Ah - curses!😄
Russia is a European country, as is Turkey, the thing is that the difference between Asia and Europe is totally arbitrary. European is a political term and therefore not entirely fixated.
The Thames, in London, is brown because of the mud. The mud get mixed with the water 4 times a day because that part of the Thames is tidal. In other words London is by the sea
you are joking! It is literally a legal shit overflow, there is even a law which allows that and the watercompanies use the possibility and rather paying out dividends, but taking properly care of the shit.
Yeah in the 1800s then there was the public health act and they built sewers.
That was a long time ago
Only part of Russia is in Europe, the major is in Asia, Istanbul turkey is partly in Europe and partly in Asia, very interesting video Tysheen, I thought it was my eyes when you went blurred
and still is Russia biggest european country
@@Bibiana862 Biggest country in European continent. That's difference. It's not a part of European cultural circle.

Europeans don't have a 1 bathroom pr bedroom standard like the US has.
Most Norwegian family homes probably have either one or two bathrooms?
So one on the ground floor and one fourth up in the house for private homes.
So think a family of 5 with 2 bathrooms for instance.
Having two is considered a luxury worth having in order to get *some* concurrency when dealing with a whole family.
But more then that?
Only the super rich got that...
And those bathrooms are usually not equal.
So only one with a actual bath, while the other probably just have a toilet, possibly a shower.
If you think about it. It's logical for inner-city 100 years old buildings as they weren't made with showers. Showers were in the basements, public baths, etc. Only later showers were installed and refitted the apartment layouts but still in limited spaces.
A lot of the rooms are not used for living in.
You would only have a bathroom next to a bedroom.
You are confusing bathrooms with toilets !
A BATHROOM has to have a bath or shower in it.
The Thames is brown because of the silt on the river bed. It mixes with the water and turns it brown.
In Europe, is a bathroom. Something other than a toilet.
12:14 - He's wrong, there were no "spanish" then because Spain didn't exist during the Reconquista.
Fun Fact #51, Tysheen: Finland and North Korea are separated by one country only. Guess what country that is. 😉
Oh Germany, we talk so much about environmental protection but depend on coal. I mean yes we have the most people and probably the biggest economy and thus more CO2 emission, but it wouldn't be that bad if everyone weren't that opposed to atomic energy. We actually always have huge problems when a new mine is supposed to be placed somewhere, a few years ago we had huge protests where they wanted to do it in a forest and people literally camped up in the trees so that the bulldozers couldn't get in. Its all very frustrating.
On the other hand its quite impressive our GDP is so high? And Europe in general, how do we make so much money and produce that much here in comparison to much bigger places? Like I know we have tons of companies and all but is always really surprising to hear.
02:27 Europa geographical est border is mountains of Ural . Yes they are 2,000km at Moscow east !
2:25 Russia started out as East European country founded by the descendants of Swedish Varangians, then dominated by Mongolian and Tartarian invaders, then itself conquering and colonizing Northern Asia. The majority of Russian people still live in the European part, but the population share with European ancestry is shrinking due to low birth rates. There is some speculation the cause for Putin relocating families and children from occupied Ukraine to Russia is to counteract that. Fun fact: Turkey is also partly European, because it holds still to a province west of Bosporus.
In Finland most forrest by country size 85 % , Estonia have by his territory mostwetlands and bogs 40% ! Yes in Estonia have more bogs then in USA total .
tysheen im from south america and go to europe many times for my job, my favourite countries in the world are italy and japan. by the way italy has the highest UNESCO sights like 55 compare to china at 50 and it also has the most beautiful church in the world called the SISTENE CHAPEL its breathtaking beauty with its ceiling painted by michelangelo. europe has the dolomites mountain range .
7:54
We have more than one rainforests in Europe.
Norway got a few small temperate rainforests.
yo germany is a powerful and rich country wow, Germany is really really nice... now I want to go there
Romania has many records, but it is not considered an important country in Europe. It has the heaviest building in the world and the most expensive (parliament palace), it has the biggest stone statue (Decebal), it has the highest wooden church in the world, the biggest glacial cave in the world ... and many others
Apparently the London River: Thames is the cleanest river in the world it looks dirty because of the silt on the riverbed.
Tysheen, geographically the border between Europe and Asia goes like this (North to South): Ural mountains, Caspian sea, Caucasus mountains, Asia Minor (the main part of Turkey), the Bosporus strait, Marmara sea, the Dardanelles strait, and we're out on the Mediterranean. So yes, the part of Russia that's West from the Ural and the Caspian see is in Europe.
Å = oh (short sound)
Æ = close to what you uttered (ah)
Ø = eh
NOTE! These are approximations - and not quite 100%
Also worth noting: All these letters are words. Å = stream/river. Æ = dialect for I (as in "I am"), Ø = island
So are you telling me it’s “Ehdegaard” and not “odegaard” (arsenal captain and Norway captain
@@Leo-zr1qv Yes...kindo.
It is def wrong to pronounce it "ohhdeguard".
Correct pronunciation is akin to "Eh-de-gohrd" (I am unsure if he spells his name as "Ødegård" or "Ødegaard"...either way a double "aa" = "å" when pronounced.
Øde means desolate or remote.
Gård (Gaard) farm/farmstead
The chocolate of the water helped with willy wonka and the chocolate factory ;)
"Å" is about the first sound in the diphthong "Oh", minus the second "oo" sound.
Å, Ä, and Ö are their own letters, and not versions of A and O anymore than R is a version of P, or n or h are versions of r.
11:34 ..but here in Estonia Nõva disrict ( 40 x 45 miles area ) in NW Estonia is poulation by 1km squer 0.5 = there are even wild animals more then peopole. Less are peopole in Russian Federation in Autonomic respublic of Nenets = 0.27 peopole per 1 sq km. Yes it is Europa too.
775 rooms and 78 bathrooms. That, indeed isn't even half.
2:22
The border between Europe and Asia goes through the Ural mountains *inside* Russia.
Then along a river flowing from the mountain chain down the the Caspian sea, then down to a point in Azerbaijan where it crosses through the mountain chain there through Armenia and Georgia to the Black Sea, crosses straight through there to essentially Istanbul, then from there hugging the coast of Turkey (Asia and Africa) because Europe dominated the various parts of the Mediterranean Sea at the times when the definitions where being made, and the concept of continents where kind of a European thing to begin with, essentially most islands in the Mediterranean are European, then it reaches Gibraltar and crosses out to the Atlantic ocean.
From memory I'm not 100% sure if the Canary islands are considered Included or if they're considered African...
But essentially the border goes west there towards the Mid-Atlantic ridge, with all islands on or east of the ridge being considered European upwards towards the polar sea, so including all of Iceland, including the parts on the American continental plate, but not including say Greenland.
Then the border heads for Russia again somewhere in the polar sea, I don't remember exactly where it makes landfall in Russia...
But yeah, that's essentially Europe.
And *not* the same as the EU (parts of the EU can be found in South America and of the coast of Africa and north of Australia etc...
The Themes is also tidal so that moves the sediment around, it's actually a clean river, now 😳
16:00 The Thames River is nt dirty, unless you count clay as dirt.
Its just the silt of the river bed, that gives it, its color.
They have some facts incorect. For example the largest castle in Europe is Prague Castle and it is written in Guiness Book.
4:20 Romanian palace of parliament heaviest building in the world is worth more
Okay, everyone is talking about the USA? United. States. America? That's 50 States/Countries, right? With your own rules? In Europe, we are still with 28 States/Countries. The European Union!
The last biulding you saw was "Aleksader Nevsky Cathedral" in Sofia , Bulgaria. And Bulgaria is the oldest country in Europe that has naver changed its name since it was established on the Balkan peninsula in 681.
San Marino is in Europe, it has been a democracy since the 300s and it is still named San Marino. Any objection to that from your side?
@@berndhoffmann7703 I have no intention of arguing about anything. But it is a fact that Bulgaria is a country that has never changed its name, not that it is the oldest country in general, but the oldest country that has not changed its name. The Bulgarians created many countries during their resettlement and each one of them they named Bulgaria, the only one surviving today is the one located on the Balkan Peninsula in South-Eastern Europe. I respect the history of every country.
@@kremenamarinova6337 Of course, but could someone pls explain that to me, when there is one country San Marino which was founded 301 and as it was founded by San Marino and it still bears the name what the claim is about? One must be able to ask that question and get a reply. One must know why.
@@berndhoffmann7703 Yes, San Marino is the most ancient republic, with the same name and the same borders as well. Even if I think it's just a funfact, that's really peculiar, because it's not only a matter of names. While, of course San Marino is so tiny compares to other countries, but at least is always the same country!
@@giovannimoriggi5833 thx!
the rooms counted in Buckingam palace, aren't of course rooms to sleep ! It's the generic term.
15:53 look Thames barrier and You understand why! Yes North see raise and barrier defend London to not sink under watter ( under river) . River bottom is muddy ....
😂 the Thames is pretty clean, the water is brown because of the high tidal range, speed of the water, turbulent currents churning it up....I wouldn't drink it but it's not what you think😄👍
Interesting point: the US using European & Caucasian largely synonymously but there is a substantial geographical difference between the two that could change whether Russia is in Europe or Asia.
And now New Macedonia. The Newest country, in Europe. On the border with Greece.
number -1; europe is, according to some geologists, not a continent, just an extentsion of asia. they have no real sea borders between them but caspian see (which does not interrupt access between too continents by south or north) an the a few kilometers long border in bosphorus which is connected by several bridges. infact, the thing called "eurasia" is silly because they are all one in the first place. they are readily approachable on land by russia and turkey to both continents by land.
Also Russia and Turkey. Located in Europe and Asia. The Silk Road! And the Tsar of Saint Petersburg. Then followed a maritime training in the Netherlands. And 5 of the Presidents, of you. Came from the Netherlands!
I was also surprised Monaco has the highest live expectancy on average, I always thought that was Japan
@@micade2518 Well they did mention in the video that it was also the highest in the world. At 10:10 : “the people of Monaco live on average to be 89.4 years. The highest notches in europe but the entire world”

Maybe there is one, but not one I know of
In Copenhagen Denmark we tend to have bike problems during rush hours - mainly because some people make up their own rules and drive far too fast on the bike Lanes 😊
I heard it as a bike congestion problem.
Nah the bikes aren't a problem in the Netherlands. Don't worry about this guy.
Yeah ... just imagine the queen, now the new king, having to clean all those rooms :p
I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and I don't notice any bike problems . Offcourse in Amsterdam is many bikes and sometimes they end in the canals . And there is many bike thefts going on , but I don't really see it as a problem, you just need to lock that bike good before leaving it , anyway I'm surprised he mentioned Russia this much since most Europeans don't consider Russia to be Europe. They are basicly the outsiders that nobody really likes especially now with this war going on , he did not mention the Netherlands is the lowest laying country and has the biggest harbor and stuff there is many more things to tell but anyway he just telling numbers and offcourse Germany has more land so build more stuff , but he forgot to compare by size or by km to other countries
Yeah the Thames is dirty, and many people make up excuses to make it seem to be its natural colour.
Russia 40 % part of europe 😉
There is a discrepancy betwwen the number of rooms and associated bathrooms at Buckingham Palace because a lot of the rooms are occupied by corgis. They get one room each.
Thames water is dirty because of the tide. It's mud from the bottom because the water goes in and out.
How do we suggest videos to you?

i think its the regular and most commonly used 1toilet for men 1 for women each bathroom.
And 1 for those yet to decide what they are
Hehe, in English Proper the bathroom refers to a place where you get a shower or take a bath. Pretty self explaining, isn't it? I think you wanted to figure out the number of toilettes which wasn't provided in the video. The toilette is the tiny room where you make a No 1 or No 2.

Also it's stuck together with Africa.. (only a man made canal separating the "continents").

Because Banker one sells papers worth one Trillion to Banker two and banker two sells the same papers back to Banker one - GDP raised another two Trillion.
Well, Europeans generally do not think of Russia (or Turkije) as "being in Europe".. Even Russians do not think of themselves as European (unless they live in Kaliningrad). To us, it mostly comprises the EU countries plus places like the UK, Norway, Iceland and Balkan countries.
