quite sad that quite a few people have died in this storm, meanwhile adam and collete are playing about and having fun and enjoying themselfs bit of a kick in the teeth for the families that lost loved ones and are picking up pieces of their lives in the streets

I was born in ct also and much earlier in life moved to florida and spend many summer getting pulled behind a pickup on wake boards and knee boards in side canals and flooded areas. This is a good ol florida baptism. You guys are official now.

These are great videos to keep for future drainage plans. You scan use these to remember where the worse flooding is and take appropriate actions so all will be as dry as possible in the future

I am glad y'all are safe over there at the LZ compound. Thank God the only thing that you guys need to do is clean up all the fallen debris. Those trees really helped keep the place from being really flooded. I think Florida should plant mangroves around the shores of every beach to keep the water at bay.

Super happy the compound is only dealing with minimal damage/flooding! Still praying for you guys during this time of chaos… and the most important thing is that you collete and the rest of the team are safe ❤ absolutely crazy what has happened to some the less fortunate areas on the gulf coast down near cleetus and Naples/fort Myers’s… going to be a lot of work and people coming together to make this cleanup and rebuilding happen! Thoughts and prayers to the people affected! 🙏🙏

One idea I had to take care of some of the major problem areas, is to cut deep circular drains into the concrete with grates above, with electric sumps in the bottom, that would feed through pipes under the concrete, into large rain barrels placed on a stand somewhere in the woods, and tied together with pipes connecting the tops to cross feed the water from one to the other for greater water capacity ( similar to the principle of a water tower ) , that could be stored and used to water grass during a dry spell, with a sprinkler pump feeding from the barrels to a moveable wheeled sprinkler. Just a thought, I'm not a professional but it seems like it could work for the worst areas. Glad you all are safe
Only perk of heavy rain and high winds is all the half dead tree material and what not that might fall over the next 6 months all falls at once meaning only one big cleanup instead of ongoing maintenance. You all have done so well handling this

Airboated for years out in that area surprised it's not deeper than that when the river crests usually over the main highway. We used to ski with a VW bug hood not far from there. Glad it didn't wash you out.
