Hey this is me a year later. why did i copy ryan trahan's intro in this video. Like I'm watching this back now. Why did I do that I feel so bad

I do think “shadowbanning” is real, more so to the extent of they won’t push your content for a bit while you’re under heavier moderation. I’ve had it a few times where after a strike or two, even if the strike is over turned my videos won’t go public for hours or days in some cases. I’ve even had older loop videos flop with 200% watch time, 150% engagement and they wouldn’t break 150 views, after a strike that was overturned
Unfortunately Jack was Defo shadowbanned on TikTok and on RUclips too. Look at the views of this video. It really seems like RUclips does not like content pertaining to TikTok at all as a platform especially comparing it to RUclips. This is the third channel I’ve noticed that’s been shadowbanned. Others are Tuv, and Moon, I can’t drop links because this comment will be deleted for spam. Both vids tho, were both talking negatively about TikTok, and were highly edited and optimized for watch time. Thumbnails were on point to and catered to the niche of each channel. No reason they should not have gone viral with Tuv having 1m+ and moon (at the time) having 200k
They guy shadow banned doesn’t “believe in it” lol. Just look at any account spreading “false information” or edgy or conservative information almost always shadow banned.
Shadowbanning is real bro wtf. I got a 700%- engagement for a week + my dm's were stuck on loading/pending.
It is the way to check is to see your analytics. Your post shows where it's being seen. If there isn't any growth from fyp page you are banned. Lol we got the @mick9ine page shadowbanned
As a masked cosplayer, I 100% agree to this. There some pretty weird reasons why this happens (like spam liking /srs).

Tiktok is crazy. The flagging system is so jacked. Super safe videos still get flagged and restrictions... I can't ever imagine pouring so much time and investment on a platform as a business with such flaky and nebulous violations. Just another reason YT is 👑.

i’ve been lightly following your struggle for stardom for a while now and one thing i can always appreciate is you determination to do so. every now and then your videos do really well but it never sticks and it’s kind enlightening just how drastically different a channels growth can be compared to another. i’m always rooting for you tho, i have a feeling you’ll eventually stop trying so hard and it’ll you’re fame will sneak up on you. i can’t wait to see the day Jack.
I love how rather than lie ab how easy it was for you to go up to people you exposed this internal challenge. As another creator I struggle with this often and never know if it’s worth mentioning to the viewers or not.

this is super valuable for people trying to make a career making content. Tiktok can be very discouraging due to the power trends have on what gets pushed out. The secret is to take these trends and twist them into original content, or simply ride the wave

I constantly think about that short you posted about how only a few people knew Tic Toc-ers, but RUclips with long-form videos created a greater personal connection with people so more people knew RUclipsrs. It's interesting that so many people use Tic Toc but it won't matter. As long as people keep dancing and lipsyncing and not having any personal connection, people will always have a hard time naming Tic Toc-ers.

One of the best ways to gauge if your tiktok has long or high market success is to identify a related metric for content strength, and relevancy and its engagement rate. It is easily appraised using tools such as *phlanx's tiktok engagement rate calculator* or you can do it manually

I think that new accounts tend to pop off more than established accounts on TikTok because the algorithm needs to test them with a wide variety of audiences to see where they fit. In contrast, TikTok serves content from established creators to their established fanbases, and if the content is different, it won't get the same reaction (i.e People that followed for tech content don't want to see interviews).
On RUclips, ParkerGames was struggling to grow his own channel because his established fans didn't watch him anymore. When he created the channel Craftee, he started uploading really high quality videos from the get-go, and it popped off

YT is quite simple for, I hop on YT I see a James Jani video I click, I see a Jack Gordon video I put away all my distractions and watch till the end twice.
TikTok is a lottery, I use it as a tool to grow channels and then never touch it again, otherwise I get frustrated with how inconsistent the platform is
i remember couple years back you had 30k subs on yt now ur on almost 500k and its still not enough. your video quality is still just wayyyy too good to be only seen by this amount of people

Honestly tiktok feels like it’s dieing already. People tend to spend less time on the app, because quality content just won’t get shown anymore. And well when people spend less time on an app, creators will soon follow.
Just a thesis but this seems likely. Average session times and app openings seem to have been decreasing too.

You should do more of commentating video. For example, your best video has to do with you talking about another person. Not your shorts, but your video. And it was about the mr beast commentator. That was super interesting and something that no one would even think about. You should do more videos like that. Talking about other people, either good or bad, either way, you’d get the views merely by your editing. You should do a video on other RUclipsrs or anyone.
