lol agreed, I saw a comment war a little while ago over if apple was the most innovative phone company. The conversation was laughable honestly, apple follower wouldn't give up
I like that pocket form factor. You could have a tablet, a phone and compact phone all in 1. Of course it'd be a bit thick and there's the problem with the display always exposed but if they manage to make it more scratch resistant, it'd be dope!
Apple users went from "Apple did it first" to "Apple might not be first, but they do it right ". As if everyone does it wrong. Translation: Other companies like Samsung take all the risks, while apple sit backs and copies. Oops, according to apple users, Apple dont copy, they "make it better" lol If we waited for apple to "innovate" we would still be in the notch era til 2030
I like the laptop. Make the whole keyboard and mouse into touch screen/tablet. It can be build as water proof too and easy to clean. Why no laptop company had an idea like this?
New value and user experience that is what is required....I use a bloody Samsung A12 and don't see much difference from other phone at least I can do basically, all the things all high end phones can do. Lets get something more than form factor. However, thumbs up for Samsung's form factor it might have some real use some day...Nice Video👍
And I bet you still are using your S8+ because of the prices of the current phones. I have my Note 8 and my Note 10 outright owned. I have no plans on purchasing another phone anytime soon despite all of the nice innovation. The true flagship phones are just too darn expensive.
@@KenyaGrahamno not at all I'm a healthcare worker I make good money and price is not the problem I don't see the need to upgrade yes sure the newer phones have better features but with the S8 + even in 2021 its still a great phone
These concepts will die if consumers can't afford them. Yes the iphone's first release were somwhow expensive too but people needed it that time and it was a big leap in tech because of the multitouch, better screen and better camera.
Phone slide for text book view PDF and Kindle, Fold laptop version is also a good idea. Love to see the outcome. Hopefully there will be variation, one for the rich, big spender, another for budget enthusiast.
@@anirudh2103 l not thick he is indian because in resent video he said that he have Sony's phone l cant remember name of phone but that phone wasn't launched in india....
it's all about testing the new designs. I wish we fast forward all of this and see the best designs. My dream is to see a phone without the need to charge and be foldable like a thin newspaper.
I am loco but not rich and swapped from Fold2 after 3 months to s21u and I'm so happy about it! I'm a techie but also a quality and attention to detail nerd and the constantly greasy and pocket linted inner screen and having to open it all the time which I didn't pretty often so also using the too narrow screen. For me as a mostly YT consumer, size benefit wasn't worth it, not even without considering prise.
Great idea but why is it still so small. It should be wider than a tri fold with none of the screen problems . A 9" tall fone should roll out to 12", 16" or 21"(yes I dream big) wide. A pocket tablet. The phones has had the cpu and memory to do it. My s10+ has been able to handle every standard use I need for a computer from release. Now give me the screen I've been waiting for.
..................Hey Samsung, place the under screen camera in the middle of the screen, It will make users appear to look at the person they are having a webcam chat with........food for thought
You made the statement that things have been slowing down in the mobile phone market for the last couple of years due to the lack of innovation. I beg to differ. The issue is the cost of these devices. I believe people are not willing to pay over $1,000 to typically $2,000 for these phones that the phone companies would like us to renew every 2 years. The cost is prohibitive and is keeping me from buying another phone anytime soon even though my phone is 2 years old. I consider myself off the phone bandwagon and would look to go down to more budget friendly devices at this point.
That tablet is straight up zenbook duo on steroids. Bottom half of the screen 4k display? Nah we got a 17 inch oled 1440p 120hz panel so that you can type on your screen with your screen as you watch the letters come up on the other screen and do some multi screen tasks.
0:48 when will samsung s foldable and 2:19 sliding smartphone launch? what is the release date of s foldable and sliding smartphone? and what is the cost of s foldable and sliding smartphone i cant WAIT
I see no point on using an extremely expensive and prone to failure screen as a keyboard. On the other hand, a tablet that folds until fitting in the pocket is an amazing idea.
that laptop though... imagine being able to slide your keyboard and track pad around and adjust their sizes... and holy shit do I want one finger slide typing on laptop...
Phones are more susceptible to wear n tear since they are mostly used all the time, therefore, flexible oled tech is still far behind the gorilla glass' scratch resistance. Can't wait for 2-3 more years til these phone techs are all developed.

If there is innovation then it comes from Samsung and Xiaomi
