    Just a great car & a joy to see on the road, good for you. Guess I'll step out to my garage and smile at my E Type & let her know about her history.

    Very interesting to see the Word Jaguar on the grill, I had 2 neighbours living near me in OZ who had a 2.1/2 and a 3.1/2 pair of 1938 sedans, neither having Jaguar only SS on the grill. I wonder if the engine shown was bored and stroked? to become a Litre bigger and whether or not the gearbox with the Moss type back then.

      Dear John, as I am informed the car was completely restored to the original specs with the help of Jaguar Heritage. It was during the restoring that they found out that it is the prototype and differs from the production models, starting from 1938.

    Where's the leaper on the radiator cap.?

    • @DrivingwithGloves
      @DrivingwithGloves  3 года назад

      The leaper on the radiator cap was not original. So I did not film it with the leaper on it. But normally the leaper is mounted.

    A classy car pity about the silly music, the unholy hybrid of the old and the new with the washing machine rhythm section.

    Get rid of the Benny Hill music

    • @DrivingwithGloves
      @DrivingwithGloves  Год назад +1

      Tell me how you can get rid of music in a video which was published some years ago. And further, I was not aware that Benny Hill composed this music!
