Spent a lot of time on the Yarra as a kid growing up, great to see it still produces quality trout.

The awesome Yarra! From bream to cod to brown trout! My first trout on fly came from this great waterway! My first murray cod too!

Hey, I haven’t done a full on one. But leave it with me to think about. It’s a hard one though because it’s a personal and very confidence based this.
      Cheers, Tom

    Hi mate,
What’s your nymph weight/size? Tungsten 3mm or bigger?

Thanks Tom. Hard to do nymphing in a fast current as you can’t see what’s in the water. Still have a feeling 3mm is light or I my line crates a drag. I’m new to fly fishing.
Used to drift a worm with 1.5gr splitshot and it was deadly. But not good for fish as it often swallows the hook so here is the fly gear…)))
