A lot of pair of trees don’t need pollination from they just self pollinate. I have a 22 year old Asian pear tree I planted the day after I buried my mother. It is awesome now now I get about 300 pounds of pears, Asian pears that we harvest and we eat fresh and we make preserves we make pear jelly we make Pear butter we oh my God would do so much with it and I’ve never had any trouble. As a matter of fact they told me that I wouldn’t get real good fruit like really good edible fruit for seven years and that was not correct. it’s 22 years now, I just did a hard pruning because it was too big and I wasn’t able to grab the pairs even with the pole. It was too high and I did a drastic pruning. I almost butchered it, but it came out beautiful. It’s producing the pears it looks very beautiful here in Texas. I don’t receive or harvest my pairs till after the Fourth of July so let’s see how that goes this year.🍐🍐🍐

Just unbelievable !!! This my 3rd year gardening (more than one tomato plant). I actually have a 12 x 40 foot garden area and some unusual raised beds...a blue kiddie pool with strawberries, two flat tires stacked on top of each other, some pots, and a 2 foot by 8 foot actual raised bed. I haven't thought too much about flowers but you talked about some beautiful flowers that also had a medicinal use. That is what I am going to do this year. I really do enjoy your channel.

For some reason even though I'm subscribed it's not letting me comment unless I comment on someone else's comment so here we go.... Anybody out there that has allergies or asthma please be careful to look up the plant relatives for example chamomile is related to ragweed so if you are very allergic to ragweed it's not a choice you want to make for tea. I found this out by accident since I am allergic to wear a weed and I kept having problems with my tea and found out it had chamomile in it.

Oh this is soooooo wonderful. I found a couple last night who went off grid and the planting are in such an order that this plant keeps specific bugs from getting on the 1 it is by. The man had been a boy scout growing up. The lady actually did not know 1 thing about living in the wild.😂. All the best to you guys. Such a lovely family. Give a look at Appalachian Forager, or I think thats her name. There are several I check out for info. He showed how planting catnip by tomatoes wards off the tomatoe horn worm which will destroy a tomatoe plant in minutes.

I am curious how you use the herbs and flowers to turn them into medicinal purpose. I have migraines and curious to know if it works for that. I have 2 brothers but I was my grandparents only granddaughter. I spent so much time with them. When you talked about the pear tree it brought back special memories. I was the kid who climbed the 2 trees and shook them for the pears to fall. Then we picked them up and layed them out on newspapers in the shed. I found immense joy spending time with them while working in their big beautiful garden and picking the long row of blackberries and raspberries by the garden. Do you have other animals besides chickens and the cute little dog? Thanks so much for taking time to read my long comment. ❤🌹
