🥰 Thank you so much!
Your husband rocks!!! He and your son are whipping that storage container together….cant wait to see the end results. Happy gardening from my channel to yours!! Peace and Blessings!!!
I really enjoy your videos.
My mother does a well. She can no longer get into the garden like she used to. She is really enjoying your videos.
Thank you for sharing.
Awwww so sweet! I'm so happy you guys are enjoying these videos ❤️
I'm glad to see someone plant sweet potatoes in a bed where you can retrieve all the sweet potatoes without damaging them. They also can't spread out of the bed.
I'm SoOOoo excited about sweet potatoes this year!
Your husband is very handy! Son is an excellent helper.
Thank you ❤️
It's so good when a plan comes together beautiful family
YASSS! Thank you so much! ❤️
The shed is going to be awesome! Great info on the herbs. I’m growing more herbs this year, and the more I learn the more I want to grow. 🌱💚
Same! It would be a dream to build a functional medication cabinet! ❤️
I can’t wait until I can walk in couple months or so n plant my garden ….thank you for sharing n enthusiasm…God bless ❤🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏
Im in herbal school, so this video brought me so much joy!!!❤
How cool is that?! I would absolutely LOVE to do that one day! 😍
You are loved. Your guys are building you a wonderful shed. It will be beautiful.
A lot of pair of trees don’t need pollination from they just self pollinate. I have a 22 year old Asian pear tree I planted the day after I buried my mother. It is awesome now now I get about 300 pounds of pears, Asian pears that we harvest and we eat fresh and we make preserves we make pear jelly we make Pear butter we oh my God would do so much with it and I’ve never had any trouble. As a matter of fact they told me that I wouldn’t get real good fruit like really good edible fruit for seven years and that was not correct. it’s 22 years now, I just did a hard pruning because it was too big and I wasn’t able to grab the pairs even with the pole. It was too high and I did a drastic pruning. I almost butchered it, but it came out beautiful. It’s producing the pears it looks very beautiful here in Texas. I don’t receive or harvest my pairs till after the Fourth of July so let’s see how that goes this year.🍐🍐🍐
Wow! What a cool story!!!! Look at those 🍐 pears producing so beautifully!!!
Just unbelievable !!! This my 3rd year gardening (more than one tomato plant). I actually have a 12 x 40 foot garden area and some unusual raised beds...a blue kiddie pool with strawberries, two flat tires stacked on top of each other, some pots, and a 2 foot by 8 foot actual raised bed. I haven't thought too much about flowers but you talked about some beautiful flowers that also had a medicinal use. That is what I am going to do this year. I really do enjoy your channel.
I'm absolutely loving your garden's progress.
For some reason even though I'm subscribed it's not letting me comment unless I comment on someone else's comment so here we go.... Anybody out there that has allergies or asthma please be careful to look up the plant relatives for example chamomile is related to ragweed so if you are very allergic to ragweed it's not a choice you want to make for tea. I found this out by accident since I am allergic to wear a weed and I kept having problems with my tea and found out it had chamomile in it.
Thank you so much! You've been here to see so much growth! 😍
That's so strange! I don't know why you can't comment either! Thank you for sharing!
Oh this is soooooo wonderful. I found a couple last night who went off grid and the planting are in such an order that this plant keeps specific bugs from getting on the 1 it is by. The man had been a boy scout growing up. The lady actually did not know 1 thing about living in the wild.😂. All the best to you guys. Such a lovely family. Give a look at Appalachian Forager, or I think thats her name. There are several I check out for info. He showed how planting catnip by tomatoes wards off the tomatoe horn worm which will destroy a tomatoe plant in minutes.
Hi. I planted dwarf Dahlia from seed last year and they came back yay. I'm planting Dahlia, cosmos, sunflower and marigolds oh and I'm trying 2 roses this year. Happy planting😊
Sounds beautiful!!! And that's so amazing they came back!!!!
Absolutely love y’all’s family ! This year I’m preparing a medicinal and tea garden. I can see you and the girls cutting flowers having tea in the middle of y’all’s!
A tea garden sounds fun ☕️
😍😍😍😍😍 How exciting is that?!!!! Yasss! Such a great idea!
I am really appreciating the Epic seed starting cells and the trays, that I got with your Freedom Song discount code!! They are so sturdy and the root development of the seedlings is amazing. I've always top watered seedlings planted in flats. Bottom watering really does encourage root growth. It is so inspiring to see Thomas and Princeton, father and son, working together!!!
I'm so happy to hear this Annie! They are so amazing!
Hi 👋🏽 your garden is beautiful 😊 looks like you’re in the woods 😍
Hi!!! Thank you so much! We do have so many trees on our property! 🥰
First year I'm doing soil blocks too. I'll never go back! 😊😊😊
Everything in soil blocks THRIVED
What a blessing to have a partner in life who works to make your dreams come true. It is obvious that your dream is his dream simply because your dreams matter to him. It’s going to be wonderful, just as your green house is.
Btw, how much usable land do you have?
I love this❤❤❤❤I love yall and yall RUclips name❤❤❤❤I’m so proud of you guys and I’m so so happy for you and your family
Very informative and interesting video I enjoyed it thanks for sharing
I'm so happy that this was beneficial for you ❤️
Do you see what time it is?!!! You n some 'Thomas shed' and medicinals. Got me up here looking all crazy happy! Girl bye.
😂😂😂😂
WOW, you are so blessed to have all that help‼️🙌🏼💚 Did you grow your new plants from seeds or did you find those babies for purchase? I have been looking for White Yarrow seedlings, or even a little bigger than seedlings, but I haven't found any locally. Maybe I need to order seeds..?? Anyway, I'm so happy for you, and I appreciate the way you transmit your joy and gratefulness to us. Glory to God for ALL of His goodness!!!
It is always such a beautiful experience watching your content. You bring so much joy and excitement to what it takes to plan and achieve a garden. Love this!!!❤
You are the sweetest! Thank you ❤️
Your comfrey is going to take over! The mullein will not have a chance. You garden is beautiful! Inspiring. Love your content.
Thank you so much!!! You are right! I'm thinking about moving one! 😅
Also, I saw a stackable verticle planter in the background of one of your videos. It looks like it's attached to a 4X4 post. Would luv to see how U all made that greenstalk planter on a budget❗️😊

This is my first year growing Kilimanjaro and Eskimo
Very cool!
I am curious how you use the herbs and flowers to turn them into medicinal purpose. I have migraines and curious to know if it works for that. I have 2 brothers but I was my grandparents only granddaughter. I spent so much time with them. When you talked about the pear tree it brought back special memories. I was the kid who climbed the 2 trees and shook them for the pears to fall. Then we picked them up and layed them out on newspapers in the shed. I found immense joy spending time with them while working in their big beautiful garden and picking the long row of blackberries and raspberries by the garden. Do you have other animals besides chickens and the cute little dog? Thanks so much for taking time to read my long comment. ❤🌹
Did you know echinacea seeds were used to numb tooth pain? They have an affect like a throat spray when crushed.
Wowwww! Awesome to know.
I had no idea!!! That's so cool and such a great thing to know!!! Thank you so much for sharing! 😍
@@ourfreedomsong I learned about it from one of those historical village/living museums for early settlers and what they had done n their gardens & what they did with it. History is amazing 💯 lol
Your space is beautiful💕🌻
Thank you so much 🥰
I know that building is going to be niceee 😊
I'm so excited! Thomas is working on it as we speak!
I am so happy for you! It’s great to have a wonderful family and the support. It’s going to look wonderful. Blessings!
Thank you so much!
Honey, i think squirrels picked our plum tree clean last year. The frost destroyed our peaches. I know the struggle. Ugh...😩
😭😭😭😭
Make sure you go around and save the seeds to the Cosmos. They’re very easy to pick and save them. I have some saved for years and years.
I plan on it!!! Yay!!!!
Yay Soo excited for you!!
Thank you ❤️
Marie you are so blessed,a amazing haul.
I love your videos and your husband. It is great to be able to say I need something and have a man who gets it done. Praise the LORD!!! Your creative eye is awesome. Where did you get the comfrey?
I wish I had one!😩
So sweet! Thank you! I actually got a cutting from a friend!
Your garden is so beautiful 😊
Thank you so much ❤️
Put the Yarrow in its own area or its own container because I heard it gets a evasive. It’ll choke your other plants.
Loved the video. FYI - the candytuft (perennial) is going to grow and mound up so be sure you have enough space for it or you can divide the roots - Mine are blooming right now and they are so beautiful.
So cool! This is my first time growing it, so I didn't know that! Thank you for sharing!
Yaaaaaaaaay to yarrow 🎉🎉 It is cold hardy also so plant it where you are ok with it coming back big and healthy next year. Mine was still green in winter. Ga zone 8a (7b last year)
Wow! I absolutely love Yarrow!
Do you water good before planting …friend show me who only killed plants…now I have beautiful plant not garden yet and she won award for gardening her secret was water thoroughly n drain over night then plant no shock to plants sinc e been doing…so inspiring
Your garden is coming along so well!!! I’m also preparing my medicinal herbs and trying to place them does require lots of decision making lol. Can’t wait to see how it all turns out sis 😊
So much brain work hahaha!!! I'm so happy for your space as well! Let's build these apokatheries!
Your pear tree looks loaded! Hope you're able to protect them from whatever ate them last year. It's always so exciting when I see that my fruit trees have these little, young fruit on them. I finally bought an extra plum tree so my other one would have a pollinator nearby. Now it looks loaded compared to last year.
I'm jealous of your son because I used to have hair like his.
Hahahaha!!! The joy of youthfulness!!!
And that's awesome about the plum trees!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hey there. O M G what a wonderful project. I just know it is going to be fabulous. Your husband and son are so talented. Your flowers are so strong looking. I can’t wait to see all the beautiful colors in your garden. I will be doing my flowers today as well. You’re so right about making decisions on where they should go. That is my biggest obstacle for everything. I just want to make the right decisions so everything has the best chance. Thanks for sharing all you do, it’s so inspirational. My hubby will be building me 2 of the teepee trellises using your video. I’m so excited. I can’t wait to have melons hanging from it. Have a wonderful blessed day.❤😊
How fun!! Melons! YASSSS
Such a beautiful garden. It seems so peaceful.
Thank you so much ❤️ It truly is 🥰
Your husband and children are amazing. Just a suggestion i would take the mullen and comfrey and plant them in the ground around the garden since they are so invasive.I remember when you started look at you know proud of you looks amazing . Happy Gardening 😊
🥰🥰🥰🥰Awww thank you so much ❤️
Comfrey and calendula are wonderful for skin conditions. I make infused oil using both.
So cool! I hope to do this as well 😍😍😍
Why not put the perennials in your yard? That’s awesome your son and husband is making that for you!
Heyyyy!!! I will have some perennials folded in the landscaping in the front of our house.
I heard very great things about Mullein plant for lung health. I had no idea it looked like that, did you start that from seed? BTW Handsome sun you got there, you look so young :D
Love to see this. I have candytuft & balsam but never heard of their medicinal properties. Last year, I started 3 herb garden areas (culinary, medicinal and tea) and I'm so excited to see their progress this next season.
And YESSS--your greenhouse is fabulous! Loved to see it come together.
So cool how you already have two medical plants growing and didn't know 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Your herb garden area sounds Ah-mazing!!!!😍😍😍😍
@@ourfreedomsong Yeah, I had no idea about those 2! I just have them as lovely ornamentals at the moment. Thanks for shining your light on them.
And thank you for your comment on my herbal plans lol! The herb areas are still in their infancy but I'm looking forward to them growing and flourishing eventually. The freshness, effectiveness and money savings will be unbeatable!
That yarrow is agreesive and will spread at the roots
That's what I'm hearing! So I moved it 🤭🫶🏾
Taqueisha the Mission Giant will be 3-4ft tall so be careful where you put it unlike myself I didn’t pay attention and put them in my greenstalk last year 🤣🤣🤣😬😬
Really?! So cool!!!! Thank you for sharing! 🌻
This year is my first year going flower crazy😊 I’m so excited too the beauty of it will be amazing
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 flower crazy! Yes!!
Hi, if you don’t mind can you please let me know where you purchase your cabinet from for your medical herbs? Thank you so much.
I'm interested to see how your plants do without hardening them off. You're a rogue gardener. lol I dislike the process of hardening off and I try to skip it with different plants to see if they are tough enough to make it. I love your greenhouse and now you're getting a shed. Ase!
Ditto that.
Hahaha most of them have fared well... Some not so well haha
❤
❤️
Marigolds are also out in my garden. My zinnias are def still in the house.
I didn't realize Marigolds were so cold hardy!
Why don't you try and enclose the pears with those plastic clam shells you get from buying fruit? That's what I will be trying this year. Your garden is so inspiring to me!
Thank you so much for sharing! I have to look into this! I'm so happy You are inspired ❤️
Cosmos can go out go out mine are blooming also they are TOUGH ❤ they are ok down to 30 degrees I tested it out 😂 17:30
SOOOO good to know!!!
Just curious...what happened to the row of cattle panel arches? Did you end up taking them out? If so, why? Curious minds...😊
Hey!!! We still have a row of cattle panels in the container garden, I wonder if that is the space you are referring to?
Was the greenhouse heated during the cold weather?
Hey! Our greenhouse is unheated!
What mixture did you use for your seedlings??
I used promix... I cut that down even more with peat and perlite
How are you keeping your green house temp. Controlled.
Hi!! It's unheated but we do use an exhaust van!
How do you heat,?
It's not heated! ❤️
Could i ask where you live?
🥰💚🤗🇦🇷💪🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻
Simplicity👍🏽💐🎚️
